Let it be four more years for Nana to do more for you- Prez Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has implored residents of the newly created Ahafo Region to reelect his government come the December elections to enjoy more benefit from the government.

The President disclosed that Ghanaians have had a close proximity at witnessing the various policies implementation and opportunities created by the current administration.

“If you believe that the policies of my government have had a positive impact on your lives, and you have not regretted voting for me, I will urge you to continue to have faith in me. In the December elections, let it be four more years for Nana to do more for you”.

Speaking on the final day on his two-day tour of the Region on Sunday, with visits made to Hwidiem, Goaso, Dadiesoaba, Mim, Akrodie, Kukuom and Sankore,  he further urged residents to vote for NPP parliamentary candidates, so as to deliver another decisive victory for the Ghanaians.

“Come and join me on the ‘elephant’. The ‘umbrella’ has nothing too good to offer the people of Ghana, as their record in office shows”.

President Akufo-Addo also spoke extensively on the spat associated with electoral violence which has bedeviled some parts of the Ahafo Region.

He assured residents of the Region that such acts will be foiled and impeded by the government.

“For this year’s election, I want everyone to understand that, so long as I am President, irrespective of your party affiliation, anyone who wants to perpetuate violence will have to deal with the laws of our land. That person will not go scot-free this time around, particularly in Asutifi South and Asunafo South. We do not want such acts of lawlessness in Ghana”.

President Akufo-Addo also inspected ongoing projects at Hwidiem SHS, and commissioned a business resource centre at Goaso.

At Dadiesoaba, the President commissioned a newly constructed maternity ward at the Dadiesoaba Health Centre and paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of Goaso, and inspected ongoing construction works at Akrodie Senior High School.

Meanwhile, chiefs in the Ahafo Region have declared their unwavering backing for the President Nana Akufo-Addo, come the December elections.

At separate durbars held in honor of the president, chiefs from Duayaw Nkwanta, Techimantia, Bechem and Kenyasi revisited works done by him for the region.

The Paramount Chief of the Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Council, Nana Boakye Tromo III, told the President, “you have distributed the national cake equitably, and we, in Duayaw Nkwanta, have gotten our fair share of development.”

Policies such as Free SHS, 1-District-1-Factory, and the programme for Planting for Food and Jobs, were harped on by Nana Boakye Tromo III for the community, and as such, “this clearly shows that you have been chosen by God to lead us.”

“I want you to know that we are solidly behind you. We are told Chiefs are not supposed to engage themselves in partisan politics. However, it gets to a point in time where you have to help the person who helps you in your time of need. We are solidly behind you, and we are declaring today that ‘four more for Nana’, ‘four more to do more”.
