Prince Ned Nwoko, the Nigerian billionaire, lawyer, and politician, has made it known that Regina Daniels, might not be his last wife as he might get married to another woman.

The millionaire in an interview with BBC ‘pidgin’ edition made it known that his current last wife, Regina Daniels, knows he comes from a polygamous home, and therefore, it would not be a surprise to her.

“So whether I marry another wife or not is not a problem. She knows it can happen. I come from a very polygamous environment… I love children, she knows it and all my other wives know it so we see what happens in the future” he said.

He however noted that their marriage is ‘solid’ and it is based on understanding and respect. He also emphasized that he married Regina, within a short period of three weeks after meeting her and that it was not only her but, all his wives, were married in the same space after their first meeting with him.

The lawyer also mentioned the fact that he does believe in the process of dating before marriage. He said it will be best to marry them before you fall head over heels for them.

“We married between three weeks. I married all my wives within the same period. I don’t believe in dating anybody before marrying them. Don’t date anybody before you marry. Marry them and when you do so you begin to fall in love from within the marriage…and because you didn’t know each other before marriage, there is a lot of excitement and learning to do”.

He was also quick to add that, before the introduction of Christianity, polygamous marriage was freely allowed in the Ibo traditional setting and it was not a problem as it is now.

“These are the ills of the society now that…one man one woman. Before the advent of Christianity our tradition allowed, Ibo tradition allowed for many wives and children of course, and that determined the wealth that you had. Isn’t it? In those days, you will see an average Northerner marrying two, three, four, they are helping the women and the society.

“Yes, the fallacy of it all is that Christianity does not allow that in the South, and yet, there are average Southern men with ten girlfriends”.

The actress has been a subject of ridicule ever since she tied the knot with her husband Ned Nwoko. Many social media users, were of the opinion that Ned Nwoko will marry another wife very soon because he is from a polygamous home.

However, in a response to her husbands’ video, Regina Daniels stated on her Twitter page that her husband can marry more wives, and she is not bothered about it. She also added that she will be happy, whether she is the last wife or not.
