Albanian pop singer and songwriter, Enisa Nikaj has featured Davido, on the remix of her hit song ‘Love Cycle’.
She made this known on her Twitter page where she revealed that the song and the music video will be released on Friday, 26th March, 2021. Posting a picture of the cover art she wrote: “Finally!! ‘Love Cycle’ (Remix) with @davido. THIS FRIDAY…Music Video + song”
Some netizens reacted to her posts after sighting it. Most of her fans who have been anticipating the remix mentioned that they can’t wait for the music to be released. Meanwhile, some were of the view that, the artist she featured, Davido might not do justice to the song. However, some fans of Davido opined that the song is going to be a hit. ENISA’S BREAKTHROUGH TO THE NIGERIAN MARKET
Enisa Nikaj became known for performing cover songs of artists such as Adele and Hozier. She shared the videos on social media with her then 140,000 Instagram followers (she currently has 1.4 million followers). She released her debut single ‘Burn This Bridge’ in 2016. That notwithstanding, in 2020, she released two singles, ‘Love Cycle’ and ‘Dumb Boy’.
Enisa, like some other people outside Nigeria, was shocked to see the police brutality some Nigerian youth were faced with. In a series of posts on twitter, she wrote: “Wishing all my Nigerians luck on their peaceful protests, you deserve justice! May GOD be with you #ENDSARSOPPRESSION #EndSarsNow”

ENISA WINS THE HEART OF NIGERIANS
This solidarity post made several Nigerians happy and promised to stream her songs. Keeping true to this promise, the ‘Soro Soke’ (Speak up) Generation gave Enisa a treatment of love and support she may not have thought possible.
Her song, ‘Love Cycle’, moved to number 1 in Nigeria Pop rating. Also, she was given a Yoruba name, Eniola, which went viral together with her song on Twitter.
Prior to this period, the interactions on her posts and her followers on Twitter were not so much. In a week, her video amassed a million views, while her followers increased by tens of thousands.
While she was celebrating her growth, she tweeted and asked for who could make a remix with her for the ‘Love Cycle’ single. Quite a lot of people mentioned and tagged Davido. In a response to the request of the masses, Davido tweeted and accepted to jump on the remix with her.
