Ghanaian US-based journalist, Kevin Taylor in a video has vowed to destroy the brand of Ghanaian International star, Stonebwoy, over a recent comment about him.
This follows Stonebwoy positing in a recent interview that Kevin Taylor should be arrested for wishing his family dead. Calling Kevin “mad”, Stonebwoy stated that one day, Kevin’s cup will be full and the law with catch up with him for his numerous false allegations against high profiled people.
In reaction to this, Kevin Taylor has threatened to destroy Stonebwoy’s brand;because according to him, Stonebwoy is a bad influence on the youth. He also emphasized that since he doesn’t have a gun like Stonebwoy, he will use his words to humble Stonebwoy.
“I am going to put together a campaign especially in America, for the world to know that you are someone who is having such a bad influence in Ghana. Because, when there is any situation then you pull out your guns. I am going to let every media house in America know that in Ghana, this is what you do. You are a bad influence, and I will destroy your brand”.
Kevin descends on celebrities
Kevin further lamented that celebrities like Stonebwoy and Samini are not using their influential platforms to impact positivity into the youth but rather engage in unpleasant acts which turn to corrupt the youth. He also noted that if any young man pulls a gun on his fellow in the course of a controversy, the likes of Stonebwoy should be blamed for being a bad influence on them.
“If a young man pulls any gun at someone today it’s because of you, Stonebwoy. People like Stonebwoy are part of the insecurities we are facing today. Those little kids in Kasoa who killed their friend, it’s because of fools like you. Because you stand on National television and pull out a gun so what example are you setting”.
He also went ahead to descend on the Ghanaian celebrities noting that “one day I’ll do a show and let you understand why Ghana celebrities are waste”. Also, he said unlike John Dumelo who is forcing his way into parliament to help structure policies to help the nation, others are using their platforms to impact “rubbish”.

Background of the story
It can be recalled that a tweet of the National Democratic Congress had jabbed Stonebwoy, Samini, and Sarkodie for lack of support for the #Fixthecountry campaign.
Stonebwoy replied to the tweet and asked to be left out of the politicization of the campaign. The comment however annoyed Kevin Taylor who in turn said Stonebwoy was being hypocritical because Stonebwoy supported #ENDSars in Nigeria and is keeping quiet about the situation in Ghana.
Taylor further insinuated that Stonebwoy could lose his family because of the insecurity in Ghana.
Kevin Taylor Clarifies death wish in the new video
In the current video, Kevin Taylor clarified claims of wishing death on the family of Stonebwoy. According to Kevin Taylor, he wasn’t sending death wishes to Stonebwoy’s family. However, he was only speaking to the reality of the issue.
He explained that the Ghanaian celebrities who have a lot of influence were silent about the #Fixthecountry campaign which was going to help make the country a better place. He then noted that their silence over the campaign will one day bring the insecurities on them.
“It will get to a point the insecurities will enter every home and people like you who are telling people you have made it; your homes will be targeted. Someone might scale your wall.
“When those hungry boys and greedy guys who think they need opportunity and they are not getting it and they pick guns they won’t go to the lotto kiosk and say give me your money. They will lift their guns and point them at the people who have the money. And who are those flaunting their money on social media it’s you. So, when you sit and say Kevin is making my family a target then you are silly”.
