For some time now, skincare routine has become a great deal for celebrities as they always want to appear flawless all the time and as such, Sarkodie has disclosed what he does to keep his skin glowing.
In a viral video on social media, the ace rapper revealed that he doesn’t have;any special skincare routine however, the secret to his great skin is because he uses raw shea butter.
“I don’t have any skincare routine and I actually use just shea butter. I am very, very serious about this. My whole house, that is what we use. So, you know it has this bad smell and so after using it I just spray some perfume so that I smell good”.
Sarkodie also disclosed that he used to purchase some from fashion icon and former beauty queen, Hamamat. However, he now orders the raw unprocessed shea butter directly from the village to use.
“I used to buy some of the shea butter from Hammat but now I get the raw ones directly from the village. So, that is all I use for my skin nothing much and it is very good”
Many have averred that most men don’t have time to do extra things to cater to their skin like women do. Agreeing with this opinion, Sarkodie mentioned that men usually don’t take skincare very personally, even though it goes a long way to sustain the skin.
“As men, we don’t take the whole skincare routine personal like that. But it is good to do it if you can”.

Meanwhile, several fans who have sighted the video were in great disbelief. Some believed that Sarkodie isn’t being truthful and that he is way above using shea butter. According to them, maybe he was just trying to be modest and not disclose the actual pomade he uses because it might be extremely expensive.
That notwithstanding, some opined that Sarkodie doesn’t need any special skincare routine because his money alone makes him look good already. According to them, even if he doesn’t use any pomade or have any skincare routine, he will still glow.
Nonetheless, some fans actually believed the words of the superstar. They mentioned that they are not even amazed at the fact that Sarkodie uses raw shea butter to take care of his skin. They also attested to the fact that shea butter is a very good and a healthy product for the skin and as such encouraged others to patronize it.
Meanwhile, this revelation from Sarkodie gave others a reason to call him a “stingy man”. According to them, he has made so much money, and “he can’t let a few bucks off to get expensive skincare products”. However, some who were in total disagreement with this comment noted that Sarkodie is rather being wise and that he is actually promoting made-in Ghana products.
