Also facing the committee, the widow of Kaaka, Sahada Hudu, stated that Kaaka’s elder brother is innocent and should be freed of the charges leveled against him.

According to her, the neighbor who testified against her brother-in-law, accusing him of being responsible for Kaaka’s death must also be thoroughly investigated.

Sahada Hudu said the woman who cited Kaaka’s elder brother as a suspect in the killing did not personally see him involved in the physical assault that led to her husband’s death.

Moreover, she called for a thorough probe into the issue to enable the individuals responsible for the death of Kaaka to be dealt with.

“Conduct your investigations well, and find out the one who caused my husband’s death. The one who testified against my husband’s brother should be called. We live in the same house. She told me that she didn’t see anything, but she said she only heard the sound of my husband entering the house. She didn’t see anything because all of us went to the scene to see what had happened.”

Sahada Hudu

Kaaka’s wife further iterated her claims that her husband received some threats due to his activism prior to his death. She also confirmed that indeed her late husband was a member of the governing New Patriotic Party, NPP.

“My Lord every event concerning the NPP, my husband partakes in it. Aside that where ever things are going wrong, he takes it and addresses it on social media.”

Sahada Hudu

She also confirmed that a month before her husband’s death, he was warned by a young man to stop tarnishing the image of the government.
