The AFTA CEO extended her utmost gratitude to all financial traders all over the continent who made it to the programme and for making financial traders award a success. “Africa has risen and is taking the financial market by the horn.”

Gifty Annor-Sika Asantewah, the President of Women in Forex Ghana, bemoaned the level of poverty in the Sub Saharan Africa in the midst of abundant human resources which can be leveraged upon to leapfrog poverty.

“Africa has had her share of ridicule in the financial arena and has been known as the poorest amongst the rest of the continents. The prevalence of poverty in Africa makes the continent the least respected, even though the continent abounds in riches, natural resources, youthfulness and intellectual prowess.”

Gifty Annor-Sika Asantewah expressed her gratitude to the organizers of AFTA led by Alice Flora Tiny. She described Tiny as “a trailblazer on the financial front” and thanked her for birthing such a great initiative to recognize excellence, while breeding a positive environment for business collaboration and togetherness.
