Shaxi Chief Executive Officer of the Shatta Movement, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has revealed that he has bought a house of one of his 'baby mamas' in London.

Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, has finally lowered the curtains of his protracted ‘beef’ with Nigerian artists which he sparked minutes after he successfully pulled a mammoth crowd at the Accra Sports Stadium during his Freedom Wave Concert.

In a new development, Shatta Wale noted that he is quite happy about the publicity the Nigerians have given him since he backlashed their artistes and stakeholders of their music industry for failing to reciprocate the massive support Ghanaians give to their artistes.

In a tweet, Shatta Wale expressed his love for Nigerians and listed some artists he thinks should headline shows in their country. However, he emphasized that he should be counted out of their shows because they can’t pay him.

“Anyway thanks to all Nigerians for this media tour. It was worth it. Your comments are overwhelming. I love you guys but try and host one Ghanaian artiste in Nigeria. Count me out because you can’t pay me. Let Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, KiDi, Kwame Eugene headline your shows too”.

Meanwhile, there were some Nigerians who actually agreed with Shatta Wales sentiments. A Nigerian journalist threw his weight behind Shatta Wale after he launched the attack on Nigerian artistes.

Shatta Wale Asepa MTV VMA Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has expressed his dissatisfaction over the current happenings between the youth and the security agencies in the country.

The journalist whose name was not established noted that what Wale said is the absolute truth and provided theories to substantiate his position. He claimed that indeed Nigerian artistes are raking huge dividends from their fan base in Ghana and other African countries but don’t create the same ambiance for other artists elsewhere to benefit in their own territory.

The Journalist further mentioned that Nigerians have a lot of connections which is why their music dominates other African countries but that doesn’t mean others from the continent have nothing to offer. He emphasized that Nigerians can also support Ghanaian artistes just like they are getting from Ghanaians.

Another person who also agreed with Shatta Wale was Nigerian singer, Flavour. Flavour in an interview confirmed that Nigerians don’t support other artistes in Africa. He cited Diamond Platinumz as one of Africa’s biggest artist who has more following than most artists in America, however, his songs are not played in Nigeria.

“Numbers show us something. How can Diamond have a song with over 30 million views in a month and the song isn’t played as much as it’s supposed to be here in Nigeria? That shows you that something is wrong and then a song with 600,000 views is being played like Michael Jackson just resurrected”.

Flavour

According to the Nigerian artiste, it is no surprise some countries refuse to play Nigerian music in their clubs because the support they give Nigerian artistes isn’t reciprocated, citing Kenya as an example.

“When you go to Kenya they are protesting, no more Nigerian music in our clubs, not that I am supporting that but say, oh you people don’t even promote us and make us look like we don’t have nothing”.
