There’s fire on the mountain as a heated feud between Burna Boy and Shatta Wale keeps aggravating as the Nigerian singer schedules a trip to Ghana. Several people are speculating that it will be to face Shatta Wale at the Accra Sports Stadium in a clash they indicated to have had on social media.

Burna Boy and Shatta Wale have been throwing shades at each other for some time now after Shatta Wale lashed out at Nigerians for not supporting Ghanaian music.

According to Shatta Wale, if Burna Boy finds his way to Ghana again, he will break his neck. Shatta Wale made this known in a recent post on his verified social media handle. In the post, Shatta Wale recounted how he saved Burna Boy by hosting him in Ghana when things were not going on well.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy during his banter with Shatta Wale, challenged him to fight one-on-one if they have issues to settle.

Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to speak against the agenda of separation between Nigeria and Ghana, as he challenged Shatta Wale to a duel.

Shatta Wale then responded to Burna Boy’s challenge by daring Burna Boy to a freestyle battle at the Accra sports stadium.

“Ghana – Nigeria I’m ready for this, I double dare you Burnaboy, in fact I 10x dare you. This no be fight just lyrical like you go stop singing! Don’t let anyone tell you I want to use you for hype because you know money has been a problem from day 1 I met you, Don’t forget yourself so soon!”

The ‘Ye’ crooner noted that South African, American and UK music are being promoted in Ghana however Shatta Wale chose to have issues with Nigerian songs instead. Burna Boy then stated that “something fishy is smelling”.

Nigerian International singer, Burna Boy has won the award for Best International Act at the 2021 BET Awards show held last night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Nigerian artist, Burna Boy.

“Pushing this agenda of separation between our beautiful African nations is a grave disservice to the generations coming after us, and it goes against everything I stand for as a man and as an unapologetic pan Africanist. Therefore, if Shatta or anyone has a personal problem with me, I’m still open to fight 1 on 1 and squash it after; the same way I’ve always been. Nobody will ruin the unity we continuously try to build for a stronger and better Africa”.

Burna Boy

Burna Boy also took the opportunity to address a perceived ‘beef’ between himself and fellow Nigerian singer, Davido.  Burna Boy wrote, “FYI, I have no issues with David. We [are] good now.

“David wasn’t trying 1 on 1 with me but we figured it out. 2022 all of us must love ourselves by force. If not, make we just kill ourselves. No middle again. Forward ever backwards never. This is my last post of the year. God bless us all”.
