The Board Chairman of the Bank, Kennedy Obiri Yeboah, assured customers of delightful customer service saying “we will leave no stone unturned to ensure that customers are happy doing business with us.”

According to the management of the bank, the bank is always searching for ways to improve customer service and will go to great lengths to guarantee that customers receive the best banking service possible in this highly competitive financial industry.

Banking is currently a very competitive business, according to Mr. Yeboah, and Okomfo Anokye Rural Bank is very conscious of its banking services to consumers.

“We cannot continue to do the same thing all the time, offer same banking services as our competitors do. We have to challenge ourselves to improve upon our service particularly in the area of product design and delivery.”

Mr. Yeboah

Mr Yeboah posited that rural banking has a purpose for which it was established, and that Okomfo Anokye Rural Bank would not deviate from its primary goal of ensuring that the areas in which it operates see the kind of growth that they seek.

“We have the expertise in managing small businesses and petty trading and that has been our primary focus as a rural bank, when development occurs at the grass root level it becomes a clear indication that the country’s future economic outlook is brighter.”

Mr. Yeboah

According to him, the bank will be relentless in its attempts to remain inventive in its product development agenda, which will be tailored to the specific needs of the communities in which it operates.

The Board Chairman also told the public and potential customers that the Bank would continue to work with chiefs and elders in the communities within its operational territories, as well as all other stakeholders, to provide its financial needs and, ultimately, to improve the people’s quality of life.

Mr. Obiri Yeboah  gave these assurances at the official opening of the Bank’s newly refurbished head office complex at Woamoase

Improving Education

Mrs. Catherine Perkline, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere South, has urged rural and community banks in the area to assist the assembly’s efforts to improve the quality of education in the area.

She stated that the banks should assist the country in areas such as classroom accommodation, teachers’ bungalows, labs, and ICT centers, among other things, to aid in the promotion of teaching and learning in schools.

Mrs. Perkline praised the bank for assisting residents in the area in improving their saving habits, claiming that this has improved the people’s socioeconomic circumstances.

She urged the bank to continue to provide the necessary financial assistance to people, particularly women and adolescents, in order to help them increase their business activities and income levels.

Mr. Paul Kofi Oduro, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), stated that the bank is today one of the country’s leading rural banks with a healthy financial position.
