When opened, Philbells Medical Center will offer General OPD services such as non-invasive liposuction, women’s health & wellness, stress management, and laboratory services. The facility will also deal in obstetrics and gynecology, physiotherapy, dermatology, and massage therapy.

Philipa Halted Music Career to Pursue Education

Philipa Baafi was off from the music scenes until she released her latest songs ‘Hallelujah’ in 2020 and ‘It’s a Privilege’ in 2021. She is best known for songs like ‘I Go Dance’, ‘Nkwa’, ‘Go High’, ‘Mogya Na Akasa’, ‘Yesu Ne Me Last Stop’, among others.

Philipa at the peak of her music career was ‘missing in action’. Later, she was rumored to have stopped releasing songs due to marriage and childbirth. However, addressing the rumors in an earlier interview in March 2020, the singer refuted the claims revealing she was enrolled in school.

According to her, she had been enrolled in a medical school, and since she needed to be focused, her music career was halted in a way. Philipa then disclosed that she was graduating as a medical doctor in 2021.

Philipa further speaking noted that although she’s far advanced in age, she still wanted to pursue her dreams of becoming a medical doctor because she believes “destiny can be delayed but cannot be denied”.

“So, I started my dream of becoming a medical doctor. I started with Physician Assistantship, and by the grace of God, I’m done for four years. I’m able to consult and do other things except for major surgeries. By next year, I’ll be going to level 300 of Medical School”.

Philipa before she found herself in the music circles was a beauty therapist. Speaking on how she became a beauty therapist, Philipa Baafi revealed that she lost her parents at the early stages of her life. Therefore, she was forced to discontinue her formal education for a while and learn a trade that will help her and her family financially.

“After Secondary school, I had to sit back for some time because I had other siblings. So, it wasn’t rosy, but by God’s grace, I enrolled in FC Beauty School, and it took me to where I am now”.

Philipa then advised, “It’s good to wait on God, but while you wait, do something with your life. Don’t be idle”.
