Adele recently caused a stir after canceling her Las Vegas shows. However, it seemed all was forgiven as she claimed multiple awards at the Brits. She scooped Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for ‘Easy On Me’. That notwithstanding, at London’s O2, Adele made a veiled dig at the new gender-neutral Artist gong, saying: “I really wasn’t expecting this one at all. I want to say a massive congratulations to Little Sims. Dave, Ed, Sam, I’m so proud to be in your company.

“I love being an artist. I can’t believe it’s my job. England, the UK, we have so many incredible young artists coming up. I understand why this has changed, but I really love being a woman and a female artist. I’m really proud of us”.

The superstar singer disclosed that she had no plans to party after the awards show. She said: “I’m going straight back to my flat, bed and getting a McDonald’s, 100 percent”.

Meanwhile, comedian, Mo Gilligan was praised by fans for hosting this year’s ceremony, replacing Jack Whitehall who has helmed the event in recent years.

Idris Elba suffered ‘hilarious’ wardrobe malfunction

TV star, Idris Elba took to the stage at The Brits to present a category prize, but fans spotted that he left himself flying low. He attended the event wearing a pink bomber jacket emblazoned with Gucci across the chest, which he paired with some black jeans.  While reading out the names of the nominated artists which included Adele, Dave, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz, and Sam Fender, it became apparent that his flies had been left undone.

Many fans took to Twitter with one saying: “Not Idris Elba presenting with his flies undone“.

Another said: “Idris Elba forgetting his flies are down love to see it”.

Anne Marie makes light of her falling situation

Anne Marie had a minor hiccup during her performance last night as she took a tumble whilst navigating a set of stairs.  However, the star made light of the situation after taking to Twitter saying, “didn’t need my left ankle anyway”.

Despite the fall Anne Marie got back up and continued to put on a show for her fans. Anne-Marie was praised by fans for carrying on with the show after dramatically falling down the stairway at the Brit Awards.

Viewers were quick to throw their support behind the singer for continuing with her big performance despite hurting her left ankle.

Interestingly, Madonna started trending again after Anne-Marie fell at the Brits. It can be recalled that Pop legend, Madonna, famously fell during her ‘spooktacular’ performance in 2015 and subsequently broke the internet.
