Social media has been divided with different opinions as a Congolese man reportedly married identical triplets on the same day.

The 32-year-old man, identified as Luwizo, married three sisters named Natalie, Nadege, and Natasha, in his local after he realized he couldn’t marry just one.

The groom, sharing how he met his wives, disclosed that he met Natalie via Facebook and he fell in love with her after they interacted for a while, according to reports. He then decided to meet up with her and she introduced him to her sisters, Nadege and Natasha, and they fell in love with him too.

Luwizo, recalling the first time he met Natalie’s identical sisters, said: “I was very much surprised that I almost fainted. It seemed like I was dreaming”.

According to Luwizo, he asked them “amongst all of you, who is Natalie?” and they told him he had met all of them on different days he visited.  He then noted that he became confused since he had planned to marry Natalie. However, he had to rescind his earlier plans of marrying only Nathalie to marrying all the sisters.

“What confused me was that I couldn’t marry one of the girls and leave the two behind”.

Since the triplets are inseparable, they also agreed to marry the same man. Asked about how they handled the situation, one of the triplets said: “When we told him he had to marry all of us, he was shocked. However, he had already fallen in love with all of us, nothing could stop our plans since we were also in love with him”.

According to her, even though people considered it impossible for three women to share one husband, to them, sharing everything has been their lifestyle since childhood.

Natalie, who was the first lady Luwizo had planned to marry, speaking on the issue said: “He wasn’t able to differentiate us, so, we ended up falling in love with him. At first, when we told him that he has to marry all of us, he became puzzled. But because he had already fallen in love with all of us he had to marry all of us“.

Love Without Limits

Luwizo disclosed that although his parents didn’t approve of his decision and decided not to attend his wedding, he has no regrets whatsoever going forward with it.

He was of the view that “you have to lose something in order to gain another. In addition, one has their preferences and their own way of doing things.  So I’m happy to marry the triplets no matter what others think. My parents despised my decision and that’s why they didn’t attend my wedding. But all I can say is love has no limits”.

The triplet brides said: “Today we are very happy, as you can see, because our dreams came true without being separated by husbands, but God heard our prayers”.

Social Media Reactions

Several people on social media sighting pictures of the bizarre marriage shared their opinions on the issue. Some were of the view that the marriage could be a healthy one and could even last longer than a monogamous marriage.

Others also argued that this kind of marriage is just not right. According to them, if they start producing children, how are the children going to relate with one another. They noted that this kind of marriage is just a “recipe for disaster”.
