‘Don’t Go Into Marriage With The Perception That Your Husband Will Cheat’ – Celestine Donkor

Celestine Donkor

Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has admonished young women to enter marriage with complete faith in their future spouses.

She believes that trust is crucial in marriage and that women should enter marriage with complete trust as marriage can lead to a lot of complications.

Speaking in an interview, Celestine Donkor asserted that women shouldn’t enter into marriage believing that their husbands will cheat on them because there are some faithful men out there.

She said:

“In everything, there are possibilities of faithful people and those who have the tendency to cheat as well. Trust is important in a marriage… I will say every human is bound to sin. Our flesh is full of sins, so any human being at all can sin.

“Even those that we don’t suspect, even Roman sisters sin, Reverends, Musicians and even Popes… So I will say there are faithful people and there are people who are just like that”.

Celestine Donkor

She said that she thinks the perception people have that their husbands will cheat on them in their marriage should be made a general statement if not it is going to affect the faithful ones out there.

She further said that knowing that some men are unfaithful to their wives doesn’t mean every man is a cheat because there are many weaknesses in marriage and some men are seriously not cheats.

“I know of someone and I handle some Women’s Ministry and I hear a lot. I know currently of a couple where the lady complains that her husband does not like sex. So someone like this why will you suspect him of cheating”.

Celestine Donkor

The Gospel artiste said that going into marriage with such a perception worries the woman because women are vulnerable. She said one should have confidence, pray to God, and trust God to have a faithful person.

She said:

“So having the perception that your husband will cheat on you, means that you’re already going into the marriage with a lack of trust, which is already a problem of its own.

“And it will make you suspicious for no reason. So, I think you should rather go into marriage with a lot of confidence”.
