Alan Kyeremanten Is The Man Ghanaians Can Trust– Sylvester Tetteh

Sylvester Tetteh

Sylvester Tetteh, often known as Sly, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom, has made a compelling argument for the flagbearership of the former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten.

He claims that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for flagbearer, Alan Kyremanten is the answer to Ghana’s issues.

Although Ghanaians are losing faith in the political system, as stated by  the MP for Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom, he claimed that electing Alan Kyeremanten as the NPP’s flagbearer would usher in a new era in the nation’s politics.

“We are gradually losing confidence in the Ghanaian body of politics, so we need a new dawn that people will say we are losing interest, but for the sake of this man that has held public office that nobody can point accusing fingers at him; he is the man Ghanaians can trust.”

Sylvester Tetteh

He went on to implore the party’s delegates to take into account the advancement of the greater population of Ghanaians, while selecting the flagbearer to stand in for the party in 2024.

According to Sylvester Tetteh, Ghanaians are hoping that Alan Kyeremanten will be the country’s future leader. He urged all NPP delegates to put the 17 million Ghanaians who will be voting in December 2024 ahead of themselves. “I am an NPP delegate; all of us put together, about 230,000, will be making a decision for about 5-6 million NPP supporters,” he said.

“Beyond the 6 million, there are 17 million Ghanaians who will be contesting with us, deciding who becomes the president of this republic. So, ask yourself, is your decision reflective of the aspirations of the larger Ghanaian population? If not, change your mind and vote for Alan Kyremanten.”

Sylvester Tetteh

Sly also emphasized how well Alan Kyeremanten performed as a Minister of Trade and Industry throughout his term, notably in respect to the execution of various 1D1F projects and automobile bills, which completely transformed the Ghanaian auto industry.

“Today, in the West African sub-region or Africa in general, the Ghanaian automobile industry is one of the booming examples that you can think of. So, the solution to our problems can be found in Alan Kyremanteng, who has been celebrated globally, and you have that man here and you want to look elsewhere.”

Alan Plans On Moving Ghana Beyond IMF Dependency

Flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyerematen, proposed his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) as a fresh approach to faster growth that will position the nation and end the cycle of IMF bailouts.

Mr. Kyerematen emphasized the importance of government policy that is intended to influence desired results in the business sector. He asserted that “Government has the power through policy to turn the economy around in the preferred direction”.

By encouraging a more independent and resilient economy, the GTP put out by Mr. Kyerematen hopes to help Ghana transition from a state of stability and growth to one of transformation.

He emphasized the necessity for a thorough plan to steer the country beyond the interim Post-COVID Economic Recovery Programme (P-CERP), which is presently under progress with IMF assistance.

According to Alan Kyerematen, the recent IMF bailout demonstrated that Ghana’s economy is still weak, exposed, and susceptible to both local and international shocks.

He ascribed the nation’s high reliance on commodity exports with little value addition as the cause of its vulnerability. Additionally, he emphasized that anticipated rises in world commodity prices will be crucial to the Ghanaian economy’s projected 5.1% GDP growth in 2023.

“By the grace of God, I will lead this great party (NPP) into historic Victory in December 2024 and usher into Ghana, a new era of stability, growth, and prosperity. So help me God,” the former Trade Minister tweeted.
