‘MzGee Should Be Guided’ – Kwaku Manu

Kwaku Manu

The UTV’s United Showbiz show in the last few months has become one of the most topics discussed because of the confrontations that happen between the show host, MzGee, and the panelist who mostly appear on the show.

These confrontations have seen a lot of viewers of the show express their dissatisfaction and sometimes, other people have suggested that MzGee is not really the right fit for the particular show she hosts because the language they largely use is the Akan language, a language that she obviously struggles with.

MzGee has had disagreements, which eventually led to confrontations with guests on the show with the likes of Piesie Esther, Pappy Kojo, and others, and pundits on the show like A Plus, Arnold-Asamoah Baidoo, and Mr. Logic.

The popular Ghanaian actor, Kwaku Manu added his voice to the whole happenings and controversies of the show.

The actor urged viewers of the show to be patient with the manner they constantly troll MzGee when she somehow faults in the manner she anchors the program.

He advised the producers of the show to guide her whenever she is in the host seat so as not to do anything contrary to the expectations of viewers and even the guests and pundits.

Kwaku Manu emphasized that they should be in her ears and correct her as soon as she makes an obvious mistake, especially, when it happens to be how she spoke to either the panelist on the show or the guests who are invited in a wrong manner.

Also, he echoed the fact that MzGee happens to be struggling with the Akan language even though she is one of the finest TV presenters in the country currently.

The Ghanaian actor and producer, Kwaku Manu gave some fresh details about why he decided to walk out of his fifteen years of marriage.

He revealed that it takes a brave and wise person to seek divorce when they realize the marriage they are in, no matter the number of years they have been married or the kids they have brought into the world, is not as good as it used to be.

The reports about the divorce started as a rumor back in 2021 and continued to circulate on social media until he eventually confirmed it.

The movie producer emphasized that people who live in fear because of public ridicule and how society will view them or do not have the courage to walk out of the marriage, will end up losing their lives in the marriage, and in the end, the kids they felt they had to stay in the marriage to protect will be dejected in the world because they will not be available to cater for them.

He exclusively revealed on the show that he was going to marry again very soon but he didn’t give a timeline on when he was getting married.

Kwaku Manu advised that divorce is not a good thing because every human needs great companionship and someone to share affection with, even though, he plainly said that he has no regret following his decision to get divorced from his UK-based wife, Mrs. Dianne Okailey, about four years ago.

Also, he shared his thoughts on the cost of living in Kumasi.

The actor addressed the misconception that Kumasi offers a more economical living environment than Accra. He stressed that this was far from the truth, as both cities present significant financial challenges and the ability to thrive falls on an individual’s resourcefulness.

The actor also disclosed that certain areas in Kumasi commanded even higher prices for land and real estate than some neighborhoods in Accra.
