She revealed her readiness for the grand event, pointing out her meticulous preparations for the occasion.

When quizzed about her anticipated reaction to winning the coveted award, Ayra shared her plans.

She expressed her desire to celebrate by indulging in a feast at her favorite Chinese restaurant, followed by a heartfelt video call to her beloved mother.

Ayra Starr went on to disclose that she has rehearsed her walk, carefully selected her outfit for the red carpet affair, and even penned her acceptance speech for the Grammy stage.

Expressing a realistic outlook, Ayra Starr acknowledged the uncertainty of awards and shared that she’s ready with an outfit and speech for next year if she doesn’t win this time.

In other news, fast-rising Nigerian music sensation, Ayra Starr recently opened up about her experience with fame and her mother’s support and overprotectiveness.

Despite her status, she emphasized that her mother remains an essential Nigerian mom, with all the love, care, worry, and occasional teasing that entails.

Shedding More Light Of Disrespect To King Sunny Ade

Ayra Starr isn’t done explaining herself for disrespecting legendary singer, King Sunny Ade.

Last weekend, Ayra Starr was mercilessly dragged online over her disrespect to King Sunny Ade at the Heineken Afrozons Pre-Grammy Party.

In the viral video, Ayra Starr who was in her unusual skimpy outfit, snubbed Burna Boy’s mother as she embraced a woman sitting beside her. Ayra went on to greet KSA while standing and shook hands with him.

Her disrespectful behavior led to backlash and Ayra Starr took to her Twitter page to tender a deep apology, referring to him as her uncle and explaining herself.

Ayra Starr noted how she can’t be disrespectful to her elders as she is a proper Yoruba girl.

Still, on her apology tour, Ayra Starr explained further, reiterating that the place was dark, hence she didn’t know it was him.

She noted how the clip that went viral, was shortened to paint her in a bad light. Describing it as an honest mistake, she revealed that she went back to greet him properly after she was informed of his presence.

“An hour after I saw that, like when the video was posted, immediately I just acted. Like it wasn’t even up to an hour, I just put up my apology. It was an honest mistake it was dark. I went back to greet everybody and the video started after I greeted Mama Burna Boy, and that short clip wasn’t what it was at all. When they told me it was King Sunny Ade, I went back to greet him properly but the camera didn’t capture that,” she said.

Weeks back, Ayra Starr had slammed guys who have been giving her backlash over her latest performance.

In response to the comments and criticisms she received over her outfit to a performance, Ayra Starr addressed the issue without mincing words as she branded those criticizing her outfit as “useless men” and accused them of being clout chasers. The situation escalated further when she made a bold declaration, asserting that everything she does is primarily for her female audience.

Back in September, she declined to accept an award during the Headies award ceremony. Ayra Starr had been recognized as the best female artist, but her award was not announced on stage; instead, it was presented to her backstage.

In response, she publicly refused to accept the award, stating that she would not show gratitude for an honor that was not deemed worthy of being announced on the main stage. Ayra Starr highlighted the disparity between her treatment and that of male artists, who received on-stage recognition.
