Female Celebrities Slay To Mark Ghana’s Independence

In a traditional showcase of national pride, Ghanaian female celebrities stole the spotlight while commemorating the nation’s Independence Day, a tradition that has lingered for years.

Social media has been kept abuzz as snapshots and videos flooded feeds, immortalizing the stars’ glamorous and style-forward choices. Celebrity’s ensemble not only reflected personal flair but also paid homage to Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.

Beyond the dazzling outfits, celebrities utilized their various platforms to convey heartfelt messages of gratitude and love for Ghana.

The cleavage section and neck area of the dress were styled with many differently colored beads that made the dress sparkle.

The skirt section of the dress was styled with a few beads that were the same color as the material.

Musician and brand influencer, Michy rocked koroba braids. She wore an African print dress with Adinkra symbols printed all over it in a beautiful pattern.

Trigmatic’s Independence Day Message To Ghanaians

On the occasion of Ghana’s 67th Independence Day, Trigmatic, the rapper and entrepreneur, shared his views on the importance of the creative arts sector for the country’s progress.

He posted a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, where he highlighted how the creative arts industry influenced Ghana’s history and boosted its economy.

Trigmatic, whose real name is Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro-Adjei, pointed out that music, fashion, film, and other creative pursuits is instrumental in displaying Ghana’s rich culture and creating opportunities for sustainable development.

He emphasized that as Ghana celebrates its independence, the contribution of artists, musicians, filmmakers, and fashion designers to advance Ghanaian culture both locally and globally is undeniable and should not be ignored.

Trigmatic’s message is a call to action for stakeholders to give priority to the creative arts sector and tap into its enormous potential for the good of the nation and its people.

Also, Ghanaian actor and entrepreneur John Dumelo delivered an uplifting message on the occasion of Ghana’s 67th Independence Day, championing the pivotal role of agriculture and collective unity in shaping a brighter future for the nation.

In a video shared on X, Dumelo, who is also a dedicated farmer, portrayed agriculture as a boundless realm of opportunities for the advancement of Ghana.

Addressing the challenges and adversities faced by many, he encouraged fellow Ghanaians to maintain optimism and harness available resources to enhance their lives.

Dumelo underscored the significance of agriculture in establishing the groundwork for “a prosperous future, where aspirations flourish, obstacles are surmounted, and hope is reaped.”

Expressing unwavering confidence in Ghana’s resilience, he depicted the nation as a beacon of hope and endless possibilities.

Dumelo’s message resonates as a call to embrace the potential within agriculture and foster collective unity to propel Ghana toward a thriving and hopeful future.

This year’s Independence celebration was held under the theme, “Our Democracy, Our Pride”.

In this regard, social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter transformed into a lively hub of excitement, as the nation celebrates its 67th Independence Day.

Ghanaians flocked to the X platform, contributing to the jubilation through posts, messages, and expressions of national pride.
