Funny Face Implores Compassion From Ghanaians

Funny Face

Popular Ghanaian comedian, Funny Face, has broken his silence following his release on bail by the Kasoa-Akweley District Court, appealing for forgiveness and the opportunity to help rebuild the damaged trust.

According to the comedian, he is aware that Ghanaians are frustrated with him for not being able to wake up and deal with his difficulties effectively.

He stated that, while his acts were not premeditated, he accepts full responsibility for them and would now take modest measures toward becoming a better person.

“I feel like a new person who is taking life seriously now. I created issues for myself. I refuse to blame anyone for what I went through. The world is terrifying, but I am the root cause of my difficulties. I am the primary cause of my troubles. Everyone is now fed up with me, and that is the point I’ve reached, yet no one understands what I’m going through. I am dealing with concerns about my children. So, what would have happened if the kids I knocked down had died?

“Ghanaians should forgive me. I know everyone is fed up with me right now, but please forgive me. That’s why I took a bath: I wanted to tell God everything. So I may seek God for forgiveness since only Jehovah can tell Ghanaians to love me again. I need God’s favor as well as Ghanaians’ favor. It has never been my intention to ruin anything with my hands after all of these years of hard work. No! However, there are life-related concerns. I have so much to say, but I don’t have the words.”

Despite this, he is certain that not everything is lost.

“Not everyone has gone through the stages of life like I did and survived. I am sad, yet I believe all is not lost. To God be the glory, I will be 43 years old this year.”

The Kasoa District Court granted Funny Face bail in the sum of GHC120,000 with two sureties on Tuesday, April 9.

The comedian is expected to reappear in court on, May 10, as investigations into the accident continue.

The granting of bail allows him temporary freedom pending the outcome of the legal process.

Funny Face Seeks For Another Chance With Corporate Organizations

Funny Face was once a force to be reckoned with in the Ghanaian Entertainment Industry, enjoying a peak of prominence that brought him numerous ambassadorial deals with major brands in the country.

His visibility on TV and social media platforms played a significant role in securing these deals, making him one of the sought-after personalities for endorsements.

During his prime, Funny Face had a commanding presence in the world of brand deals, featuring in TV commercials, appearing on billboards, and representing renowned companies like Vodafone (now Telecel), Dano Milk, Nivea, Arla Foods, Lan T Soy, and Ice Joy, among others.

His versatility extended to music videos and hosting roadshow events, all of which added to his financial success.

However, a turning point came when Funny Face’s public image took a hit due to a highly publicized social media altercation with his baby mama, resulting in the loss of these lucrative deals.

This marked a period of emotional distress for the comedian as he struggled with the consequences of his actions.

After years of navigating personal challenges, Funny Face is now making a heartfelt plea to corporate organizations and companies, expressing his eagerness to reignite his career through ambassadorial deals.

Funny Face urged top brands across various sectors to reconsider him as a potential ambassador.

Despite the setbacks, Funny Face remains confident in his ability to deliver results, citing his substantial following and influence on social media as evidence of his marketability.

He appeals to these organizations for a second chance, emphasizing that he still possesses the force and appeal to attract consumers on their behalf.

“I can do better this time. Corporate bodies, don’t give up on me. I deserve another chance. I plead with you to give me another chance. Funny Face is not down yet. I still have the numbers on social media, MTN, Telecel, I’m available.”
