Lil Win Storms Movie Premiere Despite Accident

Popular Kumawood actor, Lil Win, has defied all odds and made it to his premiere in Kumasi last night after being involved in a fatal accident on Saturday, May 25.

In a video shared on Instagram, Lil Win enters the premises of the movie premiere in Kumasi with adhesive bandages on his forehead and right arm.

The actor sustained some injuries after Saturday’s accident but could not afford to miss the premiere of his movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’.

He further addressed the patrons at his movie premiere.

“I thank the Lord for what he has done for me. What the Lord has done for me goes beyond human understanding. I know that once I am still alive, my time to die is not yet up. I thank you all for making it here and may God bless you all.

“They had wanted me not to make it here because of what happened but I came here because of the love for you, a lot of people think the program will not happen because of the accident, I would not have been alive if not for God.”

Lil Win was involved in a car accident at Amakom in Kumasi on Saturday afternoon hours before his movie premiere in Kumasi.

Viral videos online show the actor’s branded Benz car severely damaged at the bonnet and was carried from the driver’s seat of his vehicle by some five men to be transported to another car.

An eyewitness recounted how Lil Win’s vehicle which was speeding almost hit her car before colliding with the other vehicle which was coming from the opposite direction, adding that she would have been dead if she hadn’t stopped her car.

She noted that the actor’s car was not in its lane but rather in the middle of the road.

Lil Win was involved in the accident with his bodyguard.

On the other hand, a man who was driving, as well as his young child was also badly affected.

Meanwhile, all injured parties were taken to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The current condition of the man and his young child is still not known.

LilWin, who had minor injuries, was on his way to an actress’s mother’s funeral and had a movie premiere scheduled for later in the day.

Prophet Duah Attends Movie Premiere With Police Escort

Nana Ama McBrown, Kwaku Manu, Otaly, and Salinko among other Kumawood actors and actresses went to support the actor cum producer.

Kweku Flick, Broda Sammy, and Ypee among others also supported the musician to have a successful premiere.

Ace Kumawood actor, Wayoosi, even though was to be on a TikTok live with legendary Agya Koo, still took time off his busy schedule to go and support his brother.

Among all the celebrities and personalities that went to the movie premiere, the entrance of Prophet Adom Kyei Duah has gotten social media users talking.

As fans were enjoying the entrances of the personalities and celebrities, a police convoy was approaching.

Many rushed to the scene to find out who was coming, but to the surprise of many, an undisclosed person was coming with a police escort.

Fans were in anticipation to know who the undisclosed person was as many suggested it could be the First Gentleman of the country, President Akuffo-Addo, or better still, Presidential candidate, Cheddar.

Fans were taken aback to finally find out that it was a Ghanaian man of God, Adom Kyei Duah who came to the premiere with a police escort.
