Management Confirms Death of Ghanaian Blogger

The late John Claude Tamakloe

The management team of blogger and publicist, John Claude Tamakloe, who tragically lost his life in the car involving musicians KK Fosu and Bless has issued an official press statement confirming the incident.

In a Facebook post, BeenieWords.com, owned by popular Ghanaian blogger and talent manager, Elorm Beenie, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of John Claude.

Describing him as hardworking and selfless, John Claude was said to have been an integral part of the team for over a decade, serving as an editor, publicist, and talent co-manager.

He worked on several PR and grooming projects for numerous artists, including the Grammy-winning group Morgan Heritage, Rocky Dawuni, Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Edem, Naira Marley, Stephanie Benson, Kaakie, AK Songstress, Lamisi, and Kwesi Amewuga. 

The statement recounts details from the driver, revealing that KK Fosu, Bless, and John Claude suffered varying degrees of injuries, from their heads to their limbs.

They were then rushed to Apam Catholic Hospital, where John Claude was pronounced dead by a forensic pathologist, based on family information.

“He was a hardworking, selfless, and ingenious team player we will forever miss. He has left a huge vacuum in our hearts. We’re gutted by his absence already.”

The statement

The accident occurred on Saturday, May 25, 2024, as the crew was en route to perform at a wedding ceremony.

According to reports, their Toyota Camry collided head-on with a Benz car after it was attempting to overtake another vehicle when it ran into the Camry.

The impact of the crash resulted in the immediate death of John Claude Tamakloe, who was accompanying Bless as his videographer.

Both KK Fosu and Bless sustained serious injuries in the accident. It has been confirmed that the two musicians suffered broken legs, with Bless, known for his hit “Chocho Mucho,” sustaining particularly severe injuries.

They are currently receiving medical treatment, and their conditions are being closely monitored.

Bloggers Mourn the Loss of John Claude

The Ghana Bloggers Association extended its deepest condolences following the untimely death of John Claude Tamakloe.

A revered figure in the blogging and public relations (PR) communities, John Claude’s life was tragically cut short in an accident with two Musicians KK Fosu and Bless (KayBlez)on the Accra-Cape Coast road.

John Claude was more than just a beloved member of the blogging community; he was a stalwart in the PR sector, whose contributions significantly shaped the landscape of Ghana’s entertainment industry.

Known for his liveliness and unwavering dedication, he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire many.

In their heartfelt message, the Ghana Bloggers Association expressed profound sorrow and sympathy for John Claude’s family, friends, and colleagues.

“We are deeply saddened by his untimely passing. His vibrant spirit and dedication have left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in perfect peace. #RestInPeaceJohnClaud#GhanaBloggersAssociation.”

The association also extended its thoughts and prayers to the Beenie Words team, who worked closely with John Claude, as well as the injured musicians K.K. Fosu and KayBlez, who were affected by the same tragic accident.

Celebrities who had the privilege of working with John Claude flooded social media with condolences and highlighted their disbelief at the tragic news.

John Claude Tamakloe’s passing is a significant loss to the Ghanaian entertainment industry, where his influence was deeply felt.

His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.
