Actress Tags Popularity As Biggest Life Achievement

Ahuofe Patricia

Ghanaian famous actress, Ahuofe Patricia of the ‘Boys Kasa’ series has revealed that her biggest life achievement is that most Ghanaians know her.

Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, as she is known outside showbiz, noted it is not easy to be widely known.

“My biggest achievement is that everyone knows me in Ghana. Most Ghanaians know me, and that’s an achievement.”

Ahuofe Patricia

The actress’ fame grew wider after she played the lead in the youth-oriented short film series ‘Boys Kasa’, where she was affectionately referred to as ‘Ahuofe Patri’ in the Akan language (meaning Beautiful Patricia).

In the series, she portrayed a difficult lady, as her counterpart, Kalybos, attempted to gain her trust and convince her to accept his relationship proposal because he liked her.

As the episodes unfolded, ‘Ahuofe Patri’ became a household name in Ghana. Some people even thought that was her birth name due to how the name was mentioned everywhere she went. To date, she is usually called by her name.

But the actress said she has no issues with people calling her that instead of her biological name, Priscilla.

“No, it doesn’t worry me. They’ve accepted me, and I’m fine with however they want to accept me.”

The brand influencer revealed that she charges not less than GHC 10,000 to work in a music video as a model or a vixen.

She added that aside from the money, she has to also love the song before she agrees to work with the musician.

She also disclosed that though she is a Christian, the last time she went to church was about 3 years ago and that some of the church members of her former church were too judgemental of her anytime she attended church service, adding that they could find a nice way of saying it.

The ‘Boys Kasa’ skit actress also stated that she currently has 6 piercings and these piercings make her feel good and sexy.

Talking about politics in Ghana, Ahuofe Patricia explained that she doesn’t see herself engaging in active politics in Ghana anytime soon.

Ahuofe Patricia began her career after becoming part of the final 10 in the Miss Malaika beauty pageant.

She later became popularly known for her comedy skits ‘Boys Kasa’ with Kalybos.

The actress is known for fighting for young women. She launched a mentoring and gender equality project called ‘She Power’, a non-governmental organization that empowers young girls against sexual abuse in Africa.

Ahuofe Patricia shared the things she looks out for in a man she wants to marry.

According to her, a man who is ready to make her a priority in his life is attracted to her, and she prefers to be in a relationship with such a man.

“Someone who is going to worship me like I’m the best thing ever to happen to him. I’m my mom’s only child, and I’m really overpampered, so he has to worship me.”

Ahuofe Patricia

Asked if she would consider the person’s financial status even if he is prepared to ‘worship’ her, Ahuofe Patricia sarcastically quizzed, “If you attend a church, don’t you sing songs of praise for offering sessions? So you can’t do all of that if you’re not in good financial standing.”

She also mentioned that a generous man is part of the category of men she would choose as a husband.

However, she is content with being single and does not feel pressured to get into marriage, no matter the criticisms she receives regarding her marital status.

She disclosed she would embrace a marriage opportunity if God permits and is blessed with her choice of man.
