“The charges against Lil Win in court are very serious, and we need to come together to help him. He is a national asset who played a crucial role in reviving the movie industry when it collapsed. If we don’t help him, he could be sentenced to 5 years in jail.”

Vim Lady

She also advised Lil Win to be cautious and mindful of his actions, especially now that he has a pending case in court.

“Lil Win needs to be very careful about what he says and does now. He should make his lawyer his friend so that he doesn’t incriminate himself beyond rescue.”

Regarding his prosecution, Lil Win was granted GHC50,000 bail with two sureties by the court after he was arrested by police on Monday, June 3, 2024.

His arrest was related to an accident involving the vehicle driven by the actor, which resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.

The media personality’s comments did not sit well with many internet users.

A significant number of netizens who commented on the video explained that no one is above the law, and therefore, Lil Win cannot be exempt. This group also believed that Lil Win’s achievements could not outweigh the potential benefits the state could gain from holding him accountable.

There was a section that expressed concern that Lil Win might escape punishment due to his wealth and status in society.

A few also made jokes about his situation, suggesting that Lil Win should be saved by the people from Philadelphia, the church he belongs to.

The Asokore Mampong District Court, which is handling the case involving the actor, has adjourned the case to July 29, 2024, awaiting advice from the Attorney-General.
