The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress further provided practical advice to voters, urging them to visit their designated polling stations to verify their details.

He reassured those who may find it difficult to visit polling stations physically that they could still participate by dialling *711*51# to check their registration status on all mobile networks.

The National Democratic Congress General Secretary’s appeal comes at a critical time, as Ghana approaches a pivotal election that will undoubtedly shape the country’s future.

Mr Kwetey encouraged voters not to underestimate the importance of this exercise, stressing that it is a fundamental right and responsibility for every citizen to ensure that their name is correctly listed.

“The power of change lies in your hands, and it begins with making sure your name is correctly recorded in the register. Let us all play our part in securing a brighter future for our country”.

The Director of IT and Elections for the National Democratic Congress, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, in an earlier statement, urged voters to prioritize the exercise, recognizing that their participation in the exercise will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the forthcoming elections.

He underscored the opposition party’s commitment to be vigilant and critical of the Electoral Commission’s operations throughout the exercise.
