Uncle Ebo Whyte Recounts How He was Smooched By Church Admirer

Uncle Ebo Whyte

Renowned Ghanaian playwright and motivational speaker, Uncle Ebo Whyte, has shared an encounter with a female admirer who fondled him in a church where he was a guest.

Uncle Ebo Whyte narrated how he was supposed to have photo sessions with attendees at a church where he had been invited to speak.

However, during the shoot, an admirer persistently stood behind him, “smooching” him.

“There’s a church I went to preach in. It was women’s fellowship day and after that, they decided we should do pictures. A woman stood behind me and smooched me all through the photos.

“I didn’t even look at her. Any group they called, she was always there behind me, she wouldn’t move.”

Reflecting on the incident and how he was able to maintain his composure during the incident, Uncle Ebo challenged the common notion that men are the “winners” in sexual encounters, explaining that women rather hold all the cards during intimacy.

“When a man sleeps with a woman, he tells his friends, ‘Oh, I finish am.’ But if you know who finished who, you will stop. You will not talk.

“In any sexual encounter. The winner is not the man. It’s the woman. The man, all you did was you gave your energy, you gave your reputation, you gave opportunities. You gave all kinds of things.”

Uncle Ebo advised men to maintain their self-respect to avoid the potential consequences of reckless behavior.

“When you understand that there’s the need for you to respect yourself, then you understand that this thing can bring you down. It can make you lose your respect and reputation like nothing else. And so be careful.”

“An older friend of mine told me this. When you go to the forest and you find a table laid, walk away because you don’t know why the table is there,” Uncle Ebo Whyte added.

Meanwhile, Uncle Ebo’s discipline is in the TV documentary “The Uncle Ebo Whyte Story: A Legacy of Inspiration & Creativity.”

It features insights from various personalities who have been impacted by Uncle Ebo Whyte. The documentary uncovers intriguing details about the popular playwright.

It also delves into his journey from early failures and financial struggles, to losing his car and job, and even burning his certificates.

‘I Want To Feed You’, a new play by Uncle Ebo Whyte’s Roverman Productions in partnership with National Theatre, will be staged at the National Theatre in Accra.

An exciting performance will be performed on September 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15, 2024 for the playwright’s regular audience members. Regular patrons of the playwright’s productions have been promised an exciting play.

Written and directed by playwright, Uncle Ebo Whyte, the story focuses on a group of ordinary but ‘crazy’ people in a normal neighborhood in Accra.

It’s the break of a new dawn and everyone is awake and going about their business. Auntie Peace is raining curses because her Christmas chicken is missing; Nhyira is asked to stay away from Serwaa, the girl he loves; and two men are fighting over Oboshie’s baby.

Meanwhile, Serwaa has a secret from her past that is chasing her, and the preacher knows more than they think he does!

For years, Roverman Productions led by Uncle Ebo Whyte has served Ghanaians with thought-provoking and hilarious stage plays.

Uncle Ebo is also a motivational speaker and the creative head and lead writer at Roverman Productions.

Some of the plays he has written include ‘I Want Your Wife’, ‘Dear God Comma’, ‘A Crazy Ride’, ‘Final Warning’, ‘Not My Husband’, ‘Sex Scandal’, ‘God, You Are Fired’, ‘Dora Why’, ‘Life Is Some Way’, ‘Mr. President Your Move’, ‘The Devil In The Mirror’ and ‘Dad Is Mum; Mum Is Dad’.
