Stonebwoy Promotes Upcoming Album With Never Seen BTS Footage

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician, Stonebwoy has stirred excitement among fans after posting a video promoting his upcoming ‘Up and Running’ album on social media.

The video showed behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage from the album’s creation, including studio sessions and press runs.

In the caption, Stonebwoy hinted at a major announcement in 48 hours, sparking even more anticipation. Fans said they were eagerly waiting to see what the announcement would be.

The artist’s fans flocked to the comments section, praising his craft and expressing excitement for the new album.

Many people expressed their admiration for his effort in delivering high-quality music. Stonebwoy recently announced that ‘Up and Running’ would be released on October 24, 2024.

Stonbwoy’s announcement triggered reactions from fans.

Stonebwoy has also achieved an impressive feat with his latest song, ‘Jejereje’, which features Dutch guitarist and music producer Ginton.

The official music video for ‘Jejereje’, which features a cameo from socialite, Sheena Gakpe, has amassed a million views on YouTube after its release on Stonebwoy’s channel on September 24, 2024.

The song will be featured on the BHIM Nation boss’ upcoming sixth studio album, Up and Running, which will be released on digital music streaming platforms worldwide on Thursday, October 24.

Since Stonebwoy released ‘Jejereje’ and its music video, directed by Banini, it has become an instant hit and generated much buzz in Ghana and other African countries. The visual recently claimed the top position on YouTube Ghana and Ghana’s Apple Music Top Videos charts (all genres).

The news of Stonebwoy’s ‘Jejereje’ music video hitting a million views on YouTube triggered excitement among his supporters on social media.

Stonebwoy’s Wife, Foundation Covers Fan’s Medical Expenses

Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation settled the medical expenses of a big fan during a recent visit to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The fan Samiru Laryea, popularly known as Bhim Bwoy, was recently involved in a motor accident at Korle Gonno on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Due to the severity of his injuries, he underwent an arm amputation surgery and was in recovery at the medical facility.

Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation, led by its director, Dr. Louisa Ansong, visited the fan at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to assess his medical condition.

In a video, Stonebwoy’s wife and some members of the foundation were spotted interacting with Bhim Bwoy, who shared the story of his accident.

Dr. Louisa and some Livingstone Foundation members settled the medical expenses and offered emotional support to the fan as he recovered from his surgery in his ward.

Explaining the motive behind the gesture, Dr. Louisa noted that he is a fan.

“He’s a fan who had an accident on Thursday while going about his day which led to the amputation. We just supported him because he is a big fan.

“We donated an amount of money to cover his expenses as well as some packs of water, drinks, and toiletries.”

The fan also got the opportunity to speak on the phone with the ‘Jejereje’ hitmaker, Stonebwoy, who offered his sympathy and some comforting words.

The dancehall musician promised to visit him at his residence after his discharge from the hospital.

Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation’s gesture towards the young fan triggered reactions from fans, who praised and thanked them on social media. 

“God bless Stonebwoy and the Livingstone Foundation for this.”
