Fifi Kwetey Rallies Ghanaians to Vote for Change

Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, NDC's General Secretary

In an impassionate call to action, the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Fifi Fiavi Kwetey has rallied Ghanaians to vote for change in the upcoming general elections, asserting that it is a pivotal moment to reshape the country’s destiny.

With just days to the crucial vote on Saturday, Hon. Kwetey’s address emphasized the transformative power of collective action and the importance of every individual’s participation in the democratic process.

“This week is a defining moment for our beloved Ghana. As we prepare to vote on Saturday, let’s remember: change starts with YOU. Your voice matters. Your vote matters. Together, we can reset Ghana, rebuild hope, and restore progress. This is our time to choose a future where every Ghanaian thrives—a future we can all be proud of.”

In another statement, Hon. Kwetey also highlighted the National Democratic Congress’s commitment to revitalizing the creative industry, describing it as a critical sector for Ghana’s socio-economic transformation.

“Let’s celebrate our creative talents—artists, writers, and filmmakers who inspire us all,” he said, reiterating that under an NDC government led by former President John Dramani Mahama, the creative industry would receive the necessary support to thrive.

He urged Ghanaians to boldly cast their ballots for the National Democratic Congress presidential candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama and the parliamentary candidates of the NDC, symbolized by the iconic umbrella logo.

“Be bold. Be ready. Let’s vote for change,” he said, appealing to the electorate’s aspirations for a brighter and more inclusive future. As Ghanaians head into the upcoming polls, Hon. Kwetey underscored the critical power of democracy and the responsibility of citizenship.

He emphasized that the NDC’s vision for a reset Ghana hinges on the collective will of the people—a determination to create a nation where hope is rekindled, progress is restored, and every citizen has a chance to thrive.

On December 7th, the choice will lie in the hands of the Ghanaian electorate, with Hon. Fifi Kwetey passionately urging electorates to vote for change to build a Ghana where every citizen regardless of their social status will progress, thrive and succeed.
