International music star, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke is currently trending online after a new interview that surfaced on social media.

The singer has been doing a lot of international interviews lately, including the one that made social media users roast him over his comment.

In a new development, the singer appeared as a guest on a podcast and was asked a few questions about his career.

The interviewers asked him about his thoughts on those who seem to be competing with him in the Nigerian music space, especially those who always love to release songs at the same time as him.

Davido gave a hilarious response after noting that such people would keep giving themselves headaches and eventually delve into illegal means to promote their music.

Subsequently, he affirmed that he did not care and that anyone could release their song whenever they pleased. His response cracked up the interviewers, who found it relatable.

A previous report noted that Wizkid and Davido’s release dates clashed in the past. Although the former failed to release a song on the said date, he caused plenty of drama on Twitter over Davido’s song.

It will also be recalled that Davido’s song with Nicki Minaj dropped on the same day as Wizkid’s new album ‘Morayo’, further sparking debate on social media.

Davido also spoke candidly about an intimate aspect of his life. He bared his deep-seated aversion to cold and how it disrupts his comfort and routine.

The megastar, renowned for his electric performances and global hits, shared these insights ahead of his monumental music concert at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome.

In a striking anecdote from the conversation, the ‘Unavailable’ crooner explained how his disdain for cold governs even the smallest details of his home life.

He confessed to habitually switching off air conditioners in his house, prioritizing his comfort above all else.

According to him, this habit, driven by his dislikes, often leads to complaints from those who live with him as they struggle to adjust to the warmer indoor climate he insists on.

This revelation follows Davido’s bold claim about the vast extent of his influence, asserting that he has direct access to 14 world leaders.

The Afrobeats star shared how his music career has not only brought him fame but also created pathways for his family, surpassing even the wealth and success his father had already established.

In a powerful moment, Davido elaborated on how his international tours have evolved into dynamic cultural exchanges, where leaders from around the globe eagerly seek opportunities to meet him, underscoring the far-reaching impact of his global presence.

Nigerian music star, Davido credited his wife, Chioma Rowland, for inspiring his decision to consider marriage.

The singer disclosed that without Chioma, marriage would never have been on the cards for him.

Davido described his wedding day as the happiest moment of his life. He reflected on their long-term relationship.

“My wedding was the happiest day of my life. Chioma has been my girl for 12 years so it was only right I married her. I was already famous before we met but I wasn’t big then. If it wasn’t her [Chioma], I’m not getting married. There’s no point.”

Social media platforms remained abuzz with clips and pictures from the grand event and Nigerians expressed their joy for the couple online, showering them with praises and prayers.

The union between Davido and Chioma was graced by prominent personalities.
