American rapper, Cardi B has shared her thoughts on why some men may prefer to date women who are considered less attractive.

During a social media livestream, she suggested that men may be drawn to more submissive women, as opposed to those who are considered more physically attractive.

Cardi B elaborated on her statement, explaining that some men may feel intimidated by women who are financially independent and confident, as they may be perceived as more challenging to control.

“Men prefer less attractive women because they are more submissive than perfect 10s.”

In a follow-up post on X, Cardi B provided additional context for her comments, revealing that she had been told by a man that he preferred to date women who were considered “6s” rather than “10s”.

This, she suggested, was because women who are considered more attractive may be seen as more difficult to manage or control.

“How men are intimidated by women that make their own money because they are not as easy to control ..and how a man told me why he rather dates 6 and not 10s.”

This statement has sparked conversations on social media, news outlets, and within relationship circles.

Despite Cardi B’s claim, physical attractiveness remains an important factor in romantic relationships for many people.

Studies consistently show that initial attraction often starts with physical appearance. However, what Cardi B’s perspective highlights is that physical appearance alone doesn’t determine long-term compatibility.

For some men, attraction shifts over time. They initially find conventional beauty appealing, but in the long run, they prioritize other qualities.

The idea of submissiveness isn’t just about personality traits anymore; it’s also increasingly seen as a lifestyle choice.

Cardi B recently divorced her husband, rapper Offset, over infidelity allegations.

Cardi B and Offset seem to have improved their relationship as they both recently celebrated his birthday in a Miami club.

While they are still in the midst of their divorce, the ‘WAP’ rapper recently assured fans that tension between them has dissipated, and they are focused on co-parenting the kids.

During an X space live chat, Cardi B stated that their relationship has become more peaceful lately.

According to her, they no longer argue or have constant conversations but can work well toward healthy co-parenting. The ‘Money’ rapper said, “We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy.”

“We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is, we’re really healthy co-parenting.”

The couple got married in 2017 and has three children: a 6-year-old girl, Kulture; a son, Wave, who is 3 years old; and an infant born in September 2024.

Cardi B acknowledged the past few months had been rocky but described the previous week of divorce filing as especially quiet, admitting that both parties had begun to move onward in a healthier, drama-free way.

“We’ve been really happy. I feel like this week has been the less dramatic week. Cause for the past three months, it’s been drama, it’s been arguing, it’s been craziness.

“But this week, it’s been like, eight days that there’s no drama, there’s no b*******. It’s getting to the point where everybody’s moving on very healthily.”

Cardi B

The ‘Invasion Of Privacy’ rapper and Offset have had a bumpy relationship for some time. Cardi initially announced their separation in 2018, and in 2020, she filed for divorce before calling it off.

This year, the ‘I Like It’ rapper again confirmed their split and filed for divorce just before giving birth to their third child.
