Tiwa Savage

Nigerian music sensation, Tiwa Savage has sparked a heated debate among her fans after revealing her perspective on cheating in relationships.

The 44-year-old singer shared that infidelity has never been a reason for her to end a relationship.

“I have never left a man because he cheated on me. I’ve left due to so many reasons like drug abuse, emotional abuse, and being ghosted.”

She stated that deeper issues, such as emotional neglect and substance abuse, are her primary deal-breakers in relationships.

However, her remarks did not sit well with many of her female fans, who took to social media to express their disappointment and disagreement.

“Dear Tiwa, cheating is an emotional abuse. Cheating comes in different forms—financial, physical, emotional, and mental. Cheating can lead to emotional and mental abuse.”

Tiwa Savage also left social media buzzing following a revelation she made on air. She shared that she gets more advances from women than men.

The ‘Kele Kele Love’ crooner’s conversation threw netizens off balance as many failed to believe their ears.

Tiwa Savage, often referred to as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” has frequently been a topic of public scrutiny, with her statements and personal life drawing both admiration and criticism.

Nigerian music star, Tiwa Savage, shared her perspective on the timing of her career breakthrough, describing it as part of a divine plan.

The Afrobeats singer revealed that she believes God intentionally delayed her success to inspire others, particularly young women who may feel uncertain about their future.

“I feel like God has done this on purpose. God delayed my success for a purpose. I used to be like, why wasn’t I successful in my twenties? I started succeeding in my thirties.”

The award-winning artist explained that her journey serves as encouragement for women who might feel pressured to achieve success early in life.

“It’s to bless other people. It’s to bless that 25-year-old girl who’s scared about what the future holds. If she opens my page and sees that I started in my thirties, she would be like, ‘I still have time.’”

Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage, who began her career in her late twenties and gained global recognition in her thirties, has since become one of Africa’s most celebrated female artists.

Her story resonates with fans and listeners, offering hope and reassurance that success can come at any stage of life.

Sometimes, it is hard to understand why God seems to delay answering prayers in one’s life.

It’s easy to have faith when things are going well in an individual’s life, and it doesn’t take much to ask. However, the genuineness of one’s faith is only proven during difficult times, especially when one is experiencing delays in one’s life.

Moreover, when God allows a delay in one’s life as a Christian, it gives them room to grow in Him and mature spiritually, just as fruits do. Fruits don’t mature 5 minutes after being planted in the soil. They take time.
