In a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and fortifying dealer relationships, GOIL PLC Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Hon. Edward Bawa, has met with key leadership members of GOIL Dealers to discuss strategies for improving collaboration across the company’s nationwide network. 

During the meeting, Hon. Bawa reiterated management’s dedication to strengthening ties with dealers, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect. 

“Our collective success depends on how effectively we work together.

“This engagement with our Dealers is a vital step towards aligning our goals, addressing challenges, and building a stronger, more responsive GOIL.”

The engagement, which comes at a critical juncture for GOIL, emphasized the importance of unity and a shared vision in maintaining GOIL’s leadership position in Ghana’s oil marketing industry.

The event also served as a platform for dealers to voice their concerns, discuss operational bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize efficiency and improve customer service delivery. 

A key aspect of the discussions centered on streamlining product supply, refining logistical processes, and improving communication between GOIL’s management and its dealers. 

Ensuring uninterrupted fuel supply, optimizing distribution networks, and improving service delivery remain central to GOIL’s long-term business strategy.  

Dealers emphasized the importance of real-time communication and transparency, particularly in supply chain coordination and inventory management. 

Recognizing these concerns, GOIL’s Head of Operations, Ing. Denis Amui, outlined plans to introduce technology-driven solutions aimed at improving inventory tracking and distribution efficiency. 

“We are exploring digital systems that will allow real-time tracking of supply chains, ensuring that dealers receive timely updates on product availability and distribution schedules.”

GOIL, recognized for its diverse product offerings and extensive distribution network, remains one of Ghana’s premier oil marketing companies. 

The company boasts a vast network of fuel stations, strong partnerships with global and local stakeholders, and consistent investments in sustainable solutions, reinforcing its dominance in Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector. 

The discussion also touched upon GOIL’s future expansion plans, including the development of new service stations, diversification of product offerings, and introducing innovations to streamline operational efficiency. 

Dr. Marcus Dake, Head of Corporate Affairs noted, “Our commitment is to maintain our leadership position through continuous innovation and strong collaboration with dealers.” 

The meeting concluded with a shared understanding that ongoing collaboration between management and dealers would be key to enhancing service delivery and sustaining business growth.

There was consensus that GOIL’s future success depends on investing in strong operational structures, ensuring product availability, and strengthening dealer relationships.

The engagement between GOIL’s CEO and Dealers is expected to yield improvements in fuel distribution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, reinforcing GOIL’s commitment to excellence in the oil marketing industry.
