Artist manager and CEO of Rufftown Records, Bullet, has made yet another bold statement amid his ongoing back-and-forth with hype man OgeeTheMC over who was closest to the late singer Ebony Reigns.
Bullet alleged that Ebony was not on speaking terms with OgeeTheMC, contrary to the impression Ogee has given that he was very close to the singer.
“After the introduction, Ebony was with me throughout. It’s not like they were very close. They weren’t close like that because even before Ebony died, she wasn’t on good terms with Ogee. As to why they weren’t talking, let’s talk about that later.”

The Rufftown Records boss also called on OgeeTheMC to stop spreading false information intended to discredit him.
“After Ebony died, what has he done again? Where is the skill he claims to have in discovering talents? He wants to discredit me, and he has to stop that. I really worked on Ebony’s project. I even borrowed money from people, which I haven’t yet paid.”

According to him, OgeeTheMC played no official hypeman role in Ebony Reigns’ career. “He called me and said he wanted to hype for Ebony on stage. It was the Gold Movie Awards, and that was the first time Ogee told me he wanted to hype Ebony,” he said.

The late singer’s boss revealed that he agreed to give him the opportunity, but after watching how he performed on stage, he was disappointed with his approach.
“After the show, I was like, no, this guy, never, because if you’re a hype man, you need to stand behind the artist, but Ogee was like the main front man, and Ebony was behind him. And he messed up the show. After that, I called Ogee, and I said, ‘Don’t ever try to hype for Ebony.”
Bullet
He also denied recent claims made by OgeeTheMC that he had to quit his radio and TV shows to support Ebony’s career.
According to the Rufftown Records boss, those claims are false. He noted that OgeeTheMC was not involved in the singer’s career in any official or consistent way.
Bullet Accuses OgeeTheMC of Misappropriating Funds

The Artiste manager and CEO of Rufftown Records publicly accused popular hypeman and media personality OgeeTheMC of misusing money meant for a major concert project, which led to a fallout between the two.
Bullet revealed that he had invested significantly in Ogee’s career, providing his first car, a Toyota Corolla, his initial UK visa, and airfare.
However, Bullet said their relationship soured when he entrusted Ogee with funds intended for concert logistics, only for the money to be squandered, resulting in a failed show.
“The time we were about to do our first ever concert, I gave him money to rent logistics, and he went to squander the money. That is how we fell out. He didn’t use the money for the purpose, so the show flopped. He brought debt on me because I had taken money from sponsors for that concert.”
Bullet
He also addressed claims made by OgeeTheMC regarding the late Ebony Reigns’ rise to fame, asserting that Ogee should not rewrite history or take undue credit.
“I have been looking for him for the past six years because I want to arrest him. I recently noted that he is working with Stonebwoy. He should stop lying. To make an artist become famous isn’t easy.
“Where was Ogee when I was pleading with media houses to play Ebony’s song? He should take pride in telling people it was through him that I knew Ebony, but he shouldn’t say he knew Ebony a year before I knew her. He should stop discrediting me.”
