Kwadwo Sheldon Opens Up About His Political Ambition

Kwadwo Sheldon

Renowned Ghanaian YouTuber, Kwadwo Sheldon, has opened up about his support for the main opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The content creator shared that he had a bigger ambition in politics and was not supporting the NPP for money or his self-interest.

“I have an ambition. You will not see me following a political party because I want to eat jollof. I have a bigger ambition. Everyone has their part in this world.”

Kwadwo Sheldon

Sheldon hinted at vying for a parliamentary seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the future. He noted that he needed to build himself on the political grounds before he could fully transition into a full-time politician.

“Maybe in the next 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 to 10 years, you will see me in the parliament. I have to build. Also, I support the NPP. I haven’t killed anyone. It doesn’t go against our constitution that I cannot support the NPP as a human being. The constitution encourages freedom of association, and I have decided to support the NPP. What can you do to me?”

He noted that despite him openly publicly declaring his support for the NPP, he has never mixed his politics with his career as a content creator.

The content creator’s remarks about NPP support stirred reactions from netizens.

“Any serious and visionary person who has an ambition will always support the NPP over the NDC because the NDC is for ordinary people, while the NPP is for serious and visionary people with a good educational background.”

The Ghanaian YouTuber said a Dr Mahamudu Bawumia presidency is inevitable and Ghanaians must be ready for his administration.

The popular YouTuber said he will dedicate his resources and will give every needed support, just like others who believe in Dr Bawumia, so he can become Ghana’s President one day.

Kwadwo Sheldon said he believes in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision, hence his staunch support.

“A Dr. Bawumia presidency is inevitable; it is going to happen. No matter what the impediments are, we are going to work so hard for him to get to the presidency because we believe in his vision. We are going to dedicate all our resources to support him. The Bawumia presidency is inevitable, and it is coming. Pay attention.”

Kwadwo Sheldon

Kwadwo Sheldon has never hidden his allegiance to the NPP. Even after the party lost to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 December 7 elections, Kwadwo Sheldon has declared his continued support for the NPP.

Many people condemned Kwadwo Sheldon for supporting a Dr Bawumia presidency, while a few others said he was entitled to support any political party of his choice.

“So all that he’s doing to make the government unpopular, criticising everything, is an agenda. Wow! We have a long way to go. Ah well. Ayoo!”

@MrChrisbrain1

“I disagree with a lot of you guys on this comment section why he has the right to showcase his interest in any political party, brothers, but remember, whatever happens, December (7th) is what decide who will be the next president of this country 😉.”
