Fidelity Bank Ghana Relaunches ‘Sika Bumm Reloaded’ Promo to Reward Savers

Fidelity Bank’s Managing Director, Julian Opuni

Fidelity Bank Ghana has reintroduced its much-celebrated ‘Sika Bumm’ savings promotion, now rebranded as ‘Sika Bumm Reloaded’, to inspire savings discipline and reward customers with life-changing cash prizes. The revitalised campaign builds on the remarkable success of previous editions, reaffirming Fidelity Bank’s mission to promote financial stability while directly giving back to loyal customers.

The ‘Sika Bumm Reloaded’ campaign offers an accessible yet impactful opportunity for customers to win substantial cash prizes. With a minimum deposit and maintenance of just GH¢500 in a current or savings account, customers automatically start earning raffle points each month.

The system is straightforward—for every GH¢500 in deposit growth, customers receive one raffle point, increasing their chances of winning in both monthly and grand draws. The promo runs on the National Lottery Authority’s (NLA) Caritas platform, ensuring a fully transparent and credible process.

Fidelity Bank’s Managing Director, Julian Opuni, emphasised that the initiative is a way to acknowledge customers’ financial discipline.

“The Sika Bumm Reloaded campaign reflects our deep respect for the goals and discipline of our customers… the most impactful way to put a genuine smile on their faces is to allow them to win a lump sum that can truly transform their lives.”

According to Mr. Opuni, the rewards are designed to help customers pursue significant personal and business goals. Winners could use their prize to invest in a business, purchase land, enjoy a family vacation, acquire a car, or build a strong financial reserve.

“This promo is our way of saying: if you’re doing the right thing with your money, we’ll stand with you and reward you meaningfully.”

By incentivising consistent account activity and deposit growth, Fidelity Bank is encouraging customers to cultivate stronger financial habits that align with long-term stability.

Monthly and Grand Draws to Sustain Excitement

The campaign features a series of draws to keep customer engagement high throughout its duration. Monthly draws will be held at the end of each month, with results announced in the second week of the following month. In each monthly draw, 10 lucky customers will take home GH¢5,000 each.

The ultimate highlight will be the Grand Draw, where the top 10 winners will walk away with life-changing sums ranging from GH¢30,000 to an impressive GH¢100,000. This grand finale is designed to create a sense of anticipation and reward those who consistently grow and maintain their balances over the campaign period.

Transparency and Customer Engagement

To maintain fairness and ensure participants remain informed, Fidelity Bank will send regular SMS notifications to qualifying customers. These messages will detail the number of tickets earned, as well as venue and date information for upcoming draws.

The partnership with the NLA’s Caritas platform also adds an extra layer of credibility, assuring participants that the selection process is impartial and secure.

Fidelity Bank is urging all its existing customers to take advantage of the opportunity by increasing and maintaining their account balances. The bank is also extending a warm invitation to non-customers to open an account and participate in the promotion.

By joining ‘Sika Bumm Reloaded,’ new customers can immediately begin earning raffle points, positioning themselves for both the monthly and grand draws.

The promo is more than just a rewards programme—it is part of Fidelity Bank’s broader financial inclusion agenda. By motivating individuals to save and maintain higher account balances, the bank aims to build a culture of financial responsibility that benefits both customers and the wider Ghanaian economy.

As Mr. Opuni summed up, Fidelity Bank’s focus is on recognising the “hard work and discipline” of its customers, while offering them meaningful incentives that can support their ambitions.
