Ghanaian politician Amorse Blessing Amos has disappointingly spoken about Shatta Wale’s woes after Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) raided his home and confiscated his 2019 Lamborghini Urus.
The politician affiliated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Facebook on August 6, 2025, expressed how unhappy about Shatta Wale’s approach to managing his woes with EOCO.
On August 5, Shatta Wale shared a series of Facebook posts firing Raymond Archer, the boss of EOCO, for raiding his home with armed officers.
His hot-headed response prompted EOCO to release a statement, tying the seizure of the dancehall artist’s car to a convicted fraudster, Nana Kwabena Amuah aka Philip Osei Tutu, who is currently serving a seven-year (86-month) prison sentence in the US.
EOCO said Shatta Wale and a former officer of the National Signals Bureau are persons of interest in the FBI case.
The musician later hosted live sessions on TikTok and X, sharing his side of the story. He explained that he was only a third-party owner of the Lamborghini Urus, which he purchased for $150,000.

According to the NDC party executive, the musician should not have reacted to the issue the way he did. He blamed the ‘On God’ hitmaker for not building a strong team to advise him when it comes to such issues.
“In life, when you get to a stage where you use your material gains to cow everybody around you into submission, such that none of them can look you in the face and tell you the truth except to sing your praise even when you’re wrong, then you’re in extreme danger. That is the situation our friend Shatta Wale finds himself.
“A crime as heinous as cross-border crime requires tact and levelheadedness to handle, not the Facebook live rants and bragging Shatta Wale did yesterday. If Shatta Wale had ‘serious’ people around him and not only praise singers, they would have counselled him not to do what he did yesterday. In fact, if he had had wise counsel, his Facebook post, which triggered EOCO’s press statement, would not have been made.”

The politician established that the ‘On God’ crooner could land in more trouble should he continue with his social media rants instead of employing lawyers and PR experts to handle his issues.
Netizens reacted to the advice to Shatta Wale.
“Sense! Pure sense and wisdom from you…Good headed regional youth organizer, you are Blessing Amos for many good reasons.”
Moses Avadetsi
“He thinks he is wise arhhhh so no one can advise him. If care is not taking erhhhh he will laugh at the wrong side of his mouth oooo.”
Bright Mensah
“He who have ear let him hear.”
Yao Destiny
“Chief, Shatta should be paying for this free services o but he won’t, he’s Shatta Wale. I don’t know what will make me go against Raymond Archer as it stands, Shatta should better start thinking right!”

Appiah Stadium Addresses Shatta Wale Controversy

Popular Ghanaian political commentator, Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, waded into the controversy surrounding Shatta Wale’s seized Lamborghini.
In a video shared to his official TikTok page on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Appiah Stadium appealed to EOCO boss Raymond Archer to have mercy on Shatta Wale.
He said Shatta Wale was a popular superstar like the late Daddy Lumba and suggested prosecuting him would unsettle his huge and active fan base.
Appiah Stadium warned Raymond Archer that if he went ahead with his pursuit of Shatta Wale, he would destroy the goodwill the government has earned with Ghanaians.
He concluded his video by greeting President Mahama and other Ghanaian big men, seeking their help in solving the issue.
