Rihanna has given birth to her third child and first daughter with rapper ASAP Rocky.
The baby girl has been named after her father’s stage name, with a supposed nod to Rihanna’s late father’s Irish heritage.
The pop singer revealed that Rocki Irish Mayers was born on September 13 in a post on social media.
The celebrity couple already have two sons together, RZA aged three and Riot aged two.
The new baby’s middle name appears to be a sweet tribute to her late father, Ronald Fenty, who was of African, Irish, English, and Scottish descent.
Fans have gone wild over the announcement, with the post receiving close to eight million likes already.
The couple, whose real names are Robyn Fenty and Rakim Mayers, began their relationship in 2020, after being friends for more than a decade.
Two years after getting together, the couple welcomed RZA in May 2022.
The pop singer famously announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl Halftime Show in February 2023, where she debuted her baby bump.
She gave birth to their second son, Riot Rose, in August of that year.
In May of this year, Rihanna publicly confirmed she was expecting her third child as she showed off her bump at the Met Gala.
However, fans have been eager for more as it has been just under a decade since her most recent album, Anti.
The singer has launched multiple businesses since then, including her popular makeup range Fenty Beauty and a lingerie company. The 37-year-old’s net worth has been estimated by Forbes at over a billion dollars.
The baby news is not the first time the couple have made headlines this year.
In February, ASAP Rocky was found not guilty of firing a gun at a former friend, in a trial that saw Rihanna bring their two sons to court.
