The Ghana Energy Commission in an attempt to deepen engagement with its key industry players, has convened a high-level meeting with the Chief Executives of Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to enhance cooperation and address critical concerns within the energy sector.
The meeting, held at the NZEB in Accra, saw the newly inaugurated Board of the Energy Commission reaffirm its commitment to fairness, transparency, and partnership.
The Board Chairman, Prof. John Gartchie Gatsi assured that the board will live up to its mandate.

Sustainable Energy Development

The Energy Commission of Ghana has long played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s energy landscape, serving as the regulator and policymaker for the sector.

To further bolster the sector’s regulatory framework, the Energy Commission announced the appointment of a Chief Inspector of Electricity, who will be responsible for overseeing compliance and technical standards within the energy industry.
