Award-winning Gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye has penned down an emotional letter to her husband, Hopeson Adorye who lost his Parliamentary seat at Kpone Kantamanso.
Posting the heartfelt letter on her Instagram page, Gifty Adorye, the hitmaker of ‘Wafra Mentoma’, assured him that all is not lost and God would restore him in the next four years. She wrote:
“You have fought a good fight and raised the Hopes of your lovers and the entire NPP supporters in Kpone Katamanso.
“You have made us proud and given us a reason to put in more hard work next time to wrestle power for our mother party, the NPP, and our constituency.”
Gifty went ahead to shower praises on her husband for being the voice of the hopeless and also helping them.
She further went on to congratulate him and asked him to stay strong in these times because she knows without a doubt that he is a strong man and promised to support him through his political journey.

“My Hero, I congratulate you for good work done. Without a doubt, you have demonstrated to the nation and the entire family what a strong man and a big shoulder we can forever depend on,”
“We thank God for your life and the strength given you through it all. I, therefore, pledge you my full support in all your political endeavors.
“You are blessed my dear, thou saith the Lord. May he give you more wisdom to do more for our country. I am solidly behind you all the way. Nothing shall bring us down. Keep shining and keep on fighting for your dear country”.
Gifty later in the heartfelt letter thanked the incumbent President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo, Vice President Bawumia, the first and second lady, and the entire NPP party for their support rendered to her husband.
“Thanks to His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and the Vice President Bawumia, our able first Lady and the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana and the entire NPP party for your support. Still, the battle is the Lord’s”.
Empress Gifty’s husband, Hopeson Yaovi Adorye managed to garner 39,546 votes which represented 43.31% of the total votes cast.
Meanwhile, his main contender who won the parliamentary seat got 51,755 votes cast in his favor and this represented 56.69% of the total votes.
Interestingly, the other parties thus GUM, IND, and NDP scored zero votes even after some of them believed strongly they were going to win the parliamentary seat.
