 Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has shared several insightful details about his son’s life, including his journey into music and the complexities of his family relationships.

He also addressed the ongoing debate surrounding the possibility of conducting a DNA test for Mohbad’s son, Liam.

Aloba described his relationship with his late son as more than just a typical father-son dynamic; they were close like friends, often relating to each other as equals.

He reminisced how Mohbad had shown a keen interest in following in his musical footsteps from a young age. Mohbad would frequently dance or serve as a backup singer at events where he performed.

Mohbad’s father also shed light on the family dynamics that shaped Mohbad’s upbringing. Aloba revealed that his son’s stepmother entered the picture after the singer’s mother left him.

Mohbad’s stepmother initially tried to adapt to the family, but she eventually felt demeaned and asked Aloba to choose between her and his son. Aloba, in his unwavering support for Mohbad, chose his son, leading to his separation from his second wife.

Regarding the ongoing paternity debate surrounding Mohbad’s son, Aloba acknowledged that the issue had garnered widespread attention and discussion across Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of doing the right thing at the appropriate time.

“This thing has become a majority thing, not only in Nigeria. So they should do the proper thing at the proper time,” he said.

Mohbad’s father’s stance amid the controversy over his grandson’s DNA test has caused another big buzz on social media, and some netizens shared their thoughts on it. Some of them reacted to what he had to say about the DNA test.

“I’m sure he didn’t realize how big his son and the issues surrounding his demise will become, hence he rushed on to bury him and granted those unprepared interviews. None here can grieve more than this man here.”

The mother of late singer Mohbad allegedly rejected the Range Rover that her son paid for before his untimely passing.

The grieving mother made a personal decision to honor her son’s memory in her own way.

As news of Mohbad’s mother allegedly rejecting the gifted Range Rover spreads, it sadly reminded netizens of the singer’s untimely demise. Fans and loved ones continue to seek justice for his untimely and unjust death.

Weeks ago, the entertainment industry and fans were thrown into a state of mourning after reports confirmed his [Mohbad’s] death.

A short video clip making rounds on social media showed the moment the singer was declared dead.

His lifeless body was shown in a bus while the person making the video called out his name, wailing and lamenting over his unexpected demise.

Many celebrities and musicians took to social media to mourn the singer. Some shared screenshots of their last conversation with him. Nigerian singer and songwriter Abiola Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, revealed a time Mohbad attempted suicide.
