Ghanaian internet sensation and tourism ambassador, Afua Asantewaa, has opened up about her intimate life, revealing how she met her husband.

Afua revealed that she first encountered her husband at the Daily Guide, a Ghanaian newspaper and website portal.

However, she left the premises with a guy instead of the job as it was becoming too stressful to get the job.

“I met my husband at Daily Guide where I was searching for a job after I had completed Sunyani Polytechnic,” she said.

She revealed that she lost her virginity at the age of 22.

According to Afua Asantewaa, she was friends with her now husband for 4 years before switching to marriage and having kids together.

Asantewaa expressed her preference for her husband to provide further details, acknowledging that the specifics of that moment have become a cherished part of their history.

She indicated that when she met her husband, he was a sports editor, adding that she was a fan of sports.

“When I was in school, I was an athlete. I really love sports; High jump, long jump, triple jump. From Achimota school through senior high school, I was into sports but I didn’t engage in sporting activities when I was in tertiary. I worked with Live FM after I completed Sunyani Polytechnic,” she narrated.

Ghanaian world record contender for the longest singing marathon, Afua Asantewaa, revealed that she paid $750 to expedite the verification process with Guinness World Records.

She shared that the usual verification process takes up to 12 weeks, prompting her decision to fast-track it after two weeks of waiting.

The Sing-a-thon, a marathon singing endeavor, captivated audiences as Asantewaa embarked on her vocal journey on December 24, 2023. The melodic odyssey concluded on December 29, spanning an astounding 126 hours and 52 minutes.

Asantewaa’s dedication to her craft and endurance in the face of vocal challenges mesmerized supporters worldwide. The Sing-a-thon wasn’t merely a personal feat but a testament to human resilience.

The decision to expedite the verification process underscores the significance of Asantewaa’s achievement and her commitment to transparency. While the monetary investment expedites the validation process, it also reflects the meticulousness and rigor associated with Guinness World Records.

With the spotlight firmly fixed on Asantewaa’s accomplishment, the world eagerly awaits official recognition from Guinness World Records, solidifying her place in history as a singing sensation and a beacon of perseverance.

The decision-making body of the Guinness World Records has assured Ghanaians that the results of Afua Asantewaa’s record-breaking attempt will be made public soon after reviewing the evidence.

While the record-breaker awaits her final verdict, she decided to acknowledge all the DJs involved in the attempt after they were spotted together on a lunch date. In her post, she mentioned the names of all eight DJs and established that her attempt was powered by the DJs Union of Ghana, which is led by Merqury Quaye, an ace DJ and radio personality.

The recent gesture from Afua Asantewaa towards all the DJs who contributed to the successful execution of her attempt got many of her fans talking.
