The automotive industry in Ghana is set to witness a transformative shift as JAC Motors, one of China’s most esteemed automobile brands, officially partners with Tryton Motors Limited.
Mr. Bruce Zhao, representing JAC Group, expressed his deep appreciation during the official launch of the partnership on 23rd August, 2024. He acknowledged the significance of this collaboration and also expressed his appreciation by stating, “On behalf of JAC Motors, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for your presence here today”.

Mr Zhao disclosed that JAC Motors, a cornerstone of China’s automotive industry, is celebrating its 60th anniversary in October 2024. Reflecting on the brand’s legacy, Mr Zhao highlighted saying, “As one of the amazing Chinese automobile brands, JAC is celebrating its 60th birthday in October 2024”.

The global reach of JAC Motors is undeniable, with products exported to over 130 countries and regions. Mr Zhao proudly shared, “Up to now, we have around 1 million overseas customers and almost 10 million customers worldwide”.
“In 2023, JAC achieved 592,500 unit sales, with a year-over-year growth of 18%. Our exports reached 250,000 units, marking a 60% year-over-year growth. JAC has been operating in Africa for almost two decades with our partners, where we have performed well in each market. Now, we officially and boldly welcome Tryton Motors to present JAC cars such as SUVs, pickups in the Ghanaian market.”
