Ghana’s favorite Amapiano King, DJ Azonto, has once again made headlines after issuing a stern warning to Sarkodie concerning the use of his newly coined slogan, “Attassa”.

The ‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker made it clear that ‘Attassa’ belongs exclusively to him, just like his other signature phrases, including ‘Fa No Fom’, ‘Ala Woyo’, ‘Azonto A Confirmie’, and ‘Make Dem Tell You’.

According to DJ Azonto, if Sarkodie dares to use the term ‘Attassa’ in any of his songs or branding, he will not hesitate to sue him.

“I had a dream that Sarkodie had used my term ‘Attassa’ in his song, and I want to publicly state that any unauthorised usage by King Sark will lead to a 500-billion-dollar investment into my DJ Azonto Microfinance with two sureties attached.”

The artist further warned other creatives to stay away from his slogan. “I know some artists will intentionally use the term for hype, but I am ready to take any artist who steals this term to court,” he said.

The multiple award-winning artist, who recently released his new single ‘Check N See [Fully Active],’ believes that protecting his slogan is part of surviving in Ghana’s music culture.

He urged fans to keep supporting his music and expect the official release of ‘Attassa’ this Saturday, August 30, 2025.

Ghana’s Amapiano King and the owner of DJ Azonto Microfinance sent a warning to Nigerian superstars, Asake and Davido, against his new ‘Check N See’ slogan.

According to DJ Azonto, Asake recently performed at Afrofuture in Detroit, wearing a wig, something that he introduced and believes is a clear attempt for Asake to copy his image.

But Asake was not alone at the receiving end of this bashing. DJ Azonto also sent a message to Davido, stating that during his highly publicised wedding with Chioma in Miami, Davido used a lipstick that DJ Azonto confirmed as his ‘Alla Woyo’ brand.

DJ Azonto had, however, earlier made bold demands as compensation from Asake, including requesting that his face be printed on the Nigerian Naira note, that the name of the Adeleke University be changed to DJ Azonto Microfinance, and that he should be receiving other compensations from both Asake and the Adeleke family, but these have all been ignored.

In his recent interview, DJ Azonto stated that once again, he has released a new song with his popular ‘Check N See’ and ‘Fully Active’ slogans.

He, therefore, warned Davido and Asake not to steal the terms he used in the song or use them in any of their songs.

“I won’t allow Asake and Davido to steal or use my new term Check N See and Fully Active. Unlike the dressing, which is now with my lawyers, if they use this term, I will escalate the issue to the FBI, and the President of Ghana and Nigeria will be informed as well.”

The ‘Fa No Fom’ hitmaker urged fans to keep supporting him and that he has more in store for them.

He is currently promoting ‘Check N See’, a song that has been anticipated by many lovers of his music for a long time.

Known for his high-energy performances and infectious beats, DJ Azonto doesn’t disappoint. ‘Check N See’ is packed with catchy lyrics and an upbeat Amapiano rhythm that’s tailor-made for DJs, club nights, weddings, and street jams.

Fans are already buzzing, and the song is expected to top playlists nationwide. Even more exciting, the official music video is slated to drop within days — keeping the momentum fully active.
