Efia Odo also mentioned that she is happy that the youth of this country are willing to express their dissatisfaction about the current situation of the country. She further noted that the hashtag won’t just end online if they do not see any progress from the government in trying to resolve the issue as they are willing to take it to the streets to protest against them.

“I’m so happy that the youth of this nation are finally tired of the bad governance and are deciding to speak against it. #FixTheCountry Will not just end on Twitter. We shall lead a protest and show our leaders that enough is enough”.

Joey B wades into the protest holding a different opinion

Meanwhile, Ghanaian hiplife and hip-Hop rapper Joey B who waded into the #FixTheCountry protest stated that the protest online is just a common hashtag to the government. He added that the government will probably not take any of the trends seriously, since they perfectly know that the people will fall for their small promises in the next presidential and parliamentary general elections.

Nonetheless, Ghanaian singer and rapper Worlasi urged the people to also try and fix themselves while asking the government to fix the country.

According to him, Ghanaians are so vulnerable that they fall for the small promises politicians make every time there’s an election. He further advised that those who are into the act of accepting bribes to vote should put a stop to it.  blackson
