The Chief Executive Officer of Black Avenue Muzik, D Black, also known as the ‘Enjoyment Minister’ is set to launch his Enjoyment Radio station.
Sharing images of the studio on his IG page, D Black asked “interested Ghanaians to send their CVs” as he prepares for the grand launching of his media house.
Well, several netizens who sighted his post took to the comment section to react to this latest development.
Some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry such as DKB and Hajia4real congratulated him and wished him well in his new venture.
His fans also congratulated him and praised him as they noted that he is helping solve one of Ghana’s biggest problems, unemployment. According to them, this business is going to give some unemployed youth the opportunity to get a job. They therefore encouraged him to keep on with what he has started.
Some others who were a bit concerned about the business, mentioned that, he should have a proper management system put in place as he has always been doing, else, he risks losing his business. Some reactions to his post read:
Well, D-Black venturing into the media industry shouldn’t be a surprise to those who have come to know him very well, as he has expressed great interest in that field being a movie and show producer.
It can be recalled that D-Black cashed in after his first produced and directed movie ‘Why Should I Get Married’ hit cinemas in 2015 starring superstar actors, comedians, and musicians including John Dumelo, Prince David Osei, Efya, E.L, Maria Nepembe, Reggie Rockstone, Princess Shyngle, Funny Face and more. Three Premieres in Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast saw a huge turnout at all 3 venues.
D-Black also produced the Peace Hyde hosted ‘The EFGH Show’ that aired on GhOne TV, ETV, and 4Syte TV in 2014.
Well, D Black has been identified as one of the most successful businessmen in the entertainment industry. Aside from owning one of the most successful record labels in the entertainment space, he owns one of the biggest lounges in Accra names the Oasis Lounge.
D-Black, among other things, also owns Club Onyx, Black Avenue Films, and is currently the brand ambassador for Ciroc in Ghana.
He also owns a consulting agency, Bluestone Consult. Bluestone Consult provides professional services in the space of Entertainment and Educational Services, IT, and Tech Consulting. Blue Stone enables celebrities over Africa to sign on to voice-driven mobile services and reach their fans all over the continent.
It is worth mentioning that D-Black, like most celebrities, owns a clothing line as well. D-Black owns fully his Clothing brand, Black Avenue Clothing launched in 2014. The brand sold out its first designs (t-shirts, hoodies, caps) and has since then been thriving till date.
Well, even though full disclosure of D-Black’s net worth is not readily available to the public, he has been counted as one of the richest musicians in Ghana.
