American rapper, Quavo is being sued by a Las Vegas limo driver for brutally attacking him unprovoked by Quavo and some five members of his entourage he picked up.
The 30-year-old Migos member, legally called Quavious Keyate Marshall, was named in the lawsuit by the driver for an alleged incident that happened when he picked the crew up from a club at the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.
According to reports, the driver was hired to pick up Migos and his group but things got testy when the passengers began yelling at him for leaving a member of the group behind.
The legal documents noted that the limo driver had tried reasoning with the entourage but was told to “shut up” and a bottle was thrown at him. The driver further claimed that tensions had risen when as many as five passengers began attacking him unprovoked with punches and kicks which left him injury ridden.

Per reports, it is claimed in the lawsuit that hotel staff and security witnessed the incident first-hand but fled for safety inside the hotel instead of aiding the driver. The limo driver, who is suing Quavo, Migos touring, and the hotel for an unspecified amount of damages, went on to allege that the assault left him suffering both physical and mental pain and even disfigurement.
This is not the only controversy the Atlanta rapper has been embroiled in this year. In May it was reported that he and now ex-girlfriend, Saweetie were criminally charged over an elevator fight which was captured in infamous leaked footage.
Although the altercation between them took place last year the video went public in March shortly after Saweetie announced their breakup.
At the time, there were reports that the authorities were looking into the case. However, TMZ claimed the L.A. City Attorney’s Office decided against filing charges. The authorities reportedly came to the conclusion that neither Quavo nor Saweetie was probably going to be convicted on the available evidence.
In the aftermath of their breakup, the elevator footage of an altercation that occurred between Saweetie and Quavo last year went viral. In the video, they were scuffling over a ‘Call Of Duty box’ when Saweetie was seen apparently taking a swing at Quavo who then pulled her into the elevator by the arm. As they engaged in a tug of war over the gaming box, she slid to the floor and he declined to help her up throughout the elevator ride.
Then TMZ reported the LAPD wanted to interview both Quavo and Saweetie to put together the events that occurred before and after what was captured on video.
Insiders claimed that both of them could allegedly be regarded as being at fault in a possible domestic violence case. However, Quavo and Saweetie both publicly insisted they had put the fight behind them and it was not the cause of the split.
“We had an unfortunate situation almost a year ago that we both learned and moved on from. I haven’t physically abused Saweetie and have real gratitude for what we did share overall”.
