Controversial social commentator, Counselor Lutterodt seems to have had enough of Psalm Adjetefio’s constant plea for financial support as he has berated it to be “nuisance”.
According to Counselor Lutterodt, Psalm Adjetefio is riding on the good and kind hearts of Ghanaians and takes “them for a fool” since he knows that they will be touched to help anytime he comes to beg.
Counselor Lutterodt who was utterly angry about the whole issue said: “In Psalm Adjetefio’s life, if he doesn’t beg he won’t have food to eat. The Vice President gave him money so what happened to it? Upon all the donations, what did he do with that money too? What sort of ungrateful life is this? What he is doing is disgraceful and he needs to stop it”.
It can be recalled that Psalm Adjetefio became the most talked-about entertainer when news broke out that he was unable to raise money to pay for his rent in September, 2021. Following this, scores of donations poured in from philanthropists, including a notable gesture from the Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia. He was presented with ¢50,000 from the office of the Vice President to support him. Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey also committed a monthly ¢1,500 out of his parliamentary salary to ensure his well-being.
Following this, several Ghanaians thought things were beginning to look sunny for the ‘Taxi Driver’, however, a leaked audio suggests otherwise. In a conversation circulating widely on social media, Psalm Adjetefio is heard asking for leftovers when he said: “Mrs. G, good afternoon; I’m wondering if you would have some leftovers in your kitchen to spare”.

Mr. Psalm explaining what he used the money that was accrued from the donations disclosed that he has invested the funds, hence his current state. He explained that “When you invest, it will take time before you begin enjoying it”. He further revealed that all other potential donors backed off upon hearing the announcement of the Vice President’s gesture.
“Right now, the situation has created a lot of problems for me. You know, a lot of people used to help me a lot. I even understood that some people have contributed some money in the U.S to be sent to me. The moment they heard it, everybody went for their money”.

Mr. Psalm then claimed that he has only received the first portion of the Greater Accra Minister’s donation and that the rest is yet to hit his account.
“It came once, and that is all. I was in his office a few days ago, as a follow-up, but I was told he traveled, and they are on leave”.

During the time donations were flooding in for Mr. Psalm, a statement from the Greater Accra Minister’s office referred to an amount of ¢5,000 purportedly promised by the McDan Group of Companies. However, Mr. Adjetefio noted that “it’s not true.”
According to Psalm, his investigations revealed that “the man actually released the money, but when he heard that the Vice President had given me that money, he also recollected his money”.
Meanwhile, some people have taken to social media to chide media personality, MzGee, for allegedly leaking the video. One of such people was fellow media personality, Amanda Jissih.
Via a comment on social media, Amanda wrote: “He asked for leftovers and you decided to record him? What for? This is wrong Mzgee. He confided in you. If you can’t help him, let him know n end it right there”.
However, MzGee has denied leaking the audio. Responding to those criticizing her, she took to her Twitter page and wrote “Ghana! Christ me! We forget too easily! Same me, who broke the story of T.T’s predicament, almost a year ago? Same me, who put my reputation on the line and appealed for funds for T.T, almost a year ago, leak our private conversation? How gullible can I be but it is well!”.
Well, with the craze of how movie producers hype their movies of late, one can only hope that this whole shenanigan could possibly be a hype for an upcoming movie.
