The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, has congratulated Hollard’s Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo for emerging winner of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana’s (CIMG) Marketing Practitioner of the Year, 2021.
This year’s event was held on the theme: “Creative Marketing and Innovation in a Volatile Global Economy”.
During a forum by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in Accra, the finance Minister in his speech mentioned he really cherished marketing practitioner of the year award. It reminded him of when he came to came to Ghana 30 years ago.
. “It just reminded me of how I started in Ghana about 30 years ago when I came back from Wall Street. And, there was nothing like a capital market nor money market and so, the whole idea of starting an investment bank was something weird to everyone.”

In a related press release issued in Accra, according to Hollard Ghana, Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, emerged as the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana’s (CIMG) Marketing Practitioner of the Year, 2021. She was honored at the just-ended 33rd Annual National Marketing Performance Awards ceremony in Accra for leading Hollard Ghana’s innovative brand-building efforts.
In addition, she was cited for excellence in marketing insights, people, corporate and reputation management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sound marketing strategies.
According to the institute, this set Cynthia and Hollard apart as corporate achievers for 2021.
