The Ice Fine pure water factory, produced by Ice Fine Mineral Water Limited, has been officially opened to commence production to provide employment and serve several adjoining communities, including Blekusu, Aflao and parts of Agbozume and Klikor in the Volta Region.
Madam Abla Gomashie assisted by her colleague MP for the La Dadekotopon constituency, Rita Naa Odoley Sowa, did the ribbon cutting while Apostle Dr. Victor Hukpotsi, assisted by Rev. Father Ruben Awuye and Rev. Father Sebastian Dela Gidiglo, dedicated the Factory.
In her remarks, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ketu South constituency in the Volta Region, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, admonished the “workers to take the work seriously and work as if the company belongs to them”.
The CEO of Ice Fine Mineral Water Ltd, Desmond Makafui Apedo, revealed that his intention is not only to make profits but rather to provide clients with good drinking water devoid of any contamination.
“Our intention of starting Ice Fine Mineral Water Limited is not only to generate revenue and maximize profit but also to offer a healthy sachet/bottled water that is healthy and free from contamination of coliforms (bacteria) that intend to have an adverse effect on the health of the unsuspecting consumers.”

He said, to achieve this, the water treatment methods involve the utilization of safe and advanced water treatment technology in treating it to ensure the consumers enjoy the best quality water.
Doing business with integrity
He mentioned that the organization has plans in the future to venture into soft drinks and natural foods production.
“As more advancement is sought in the future of water treatment technology, our company is relentlessly focused and committed to apprising itself with such knowledge to engage in new methods of purifying water so that everyone has access to freshwater that’s safe to drink. As part of our long-term business aspirations, we are also enthused about engaging in producing products such as beverages, chocolates, and natural foods that espouses the company’s interest in producing healthy products.”

The CEO pledged to fully operate in line with the company’s vision, values, and mission.
“Our company’s Vision is to become a dominant producer of quality, safe and healthy sachet and bottled water in the Volta Region and beyond, with our Mission being to produce quality and premium taste sachet and bottled water as well as to establish and maintain a dominant position in the sachet water producing ecosystem.”

We also intend to uphold these values in high esteem, thus, operating the business with integrity and fairness, focusing on our customer’s needs, continuously training our employees and improving our processes, and lastly, providing quality products and services, he noted.
