Mr Osei Gyasi, Head of Banking Supervision at the Bank of Ghana (UBA), has underscored the immense contribution of the bank to the banking industry since its entry into the scene.
The Head of Banking Supervision at the Bank of Ghana, thus, commended the bank for the innovative products it introduces over the years and for bringing the bank to the doorstep of customers through the creation of many branches across the country.
“The entry of UBA into the banking industry contributed immensely to the levels of competition in the banking space in Ghana. For the past 18 years, the bank has evolved with Ghana’s changing landscape and has worked tirelessly to serve Ghanaians. With the opening of this Business Office, the bank would be contributing further to the deepening of financial intermediation in Ghanaian industry.”

Mr Osei Gyasi made this known at the official opening of UBA’s latest branch and business office to serve customers and the banking public throughout Ashaiman and its environs.
Chris Ofikulu, the Managing Director of UBA Ghana, also speaking at the official opening of the new UBA branch, expressed his excitement over the opening of the office. He highlighted the role the newly created branch will play in serving the people of Ashaiman.
“Our customers and the communities that we serve are at the heart of everything we do, that’s why I am delighted that we have invested in Ashaiman by opening this new business office to better serve our existing clients and build new client relationships.
