Priority Insurance Company Limited has collaborated with Samuel Kwame Boadu and his SamBoad Business Group Limited Team to commence a programme to train its agents nationwide on Digital Marketing & Branding.
The programme forms part of Priority Insurance Company’s campaign to expose all their agents to the evolving technological tools shaping the insurance sector in Africa, especially Ghana.
To this end, a two-day training programme has been organized for the Greater Accra Region Agents by Samuel Kwame Boadu and his SamBoad Team at Priority House, HQ of Priority Insurance Company Limited at which they were taken through Branding, Digital Marketing and leveraging WhatsApp Business to get more clients.
The General Manager, Operations at Priority Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Felix Akyea-Bekoe, while speaking at the training sections, said “The commencement of this training is a continuation of series of Digital Marketing and branding training programmes outlined and targeted at not only the Agents but also management and staff”.
Mr. Felix Akyea-Bekoe explained that the objective of the training is to build the knowledge of agents and staff on basic digital marketing and branding to help make marketing and operations easier as the world evolves.
Mr. Salifu Abubakar, General Manager, Marketing and Business Development and Mr. Ernest Danquah all entreated the participants to take the training seriously, saying “when agents are well educated on digital marketing and branding, they can also encourage others to appreciate the need for digital marketing as a good marketing and client management tool”.
Continuous Collaboration with Samuel Kwame Boadu
Mr. Salifu Abubakar Godmar pledged continuous collaboration with Samuel Kwame Boadu in order to provide more sensitization on the need to learn branding and Digital Marketing to help reach more clients with little efforts.
In a closing remark on the second day of the training, the General Manager, Finance, Mrs. Wendy Klome, advised the final participants in Greater Accra to take advantage of the training in order to serve as worthy ambassadors for the digitalization of the insurance industry. She explained that training is necessary to build the knowledge of the participants to help them blend well.
“We had people who started as agents and with perseverance and readiness to learn, they now have brokerage firms and insurance brokerage companies which are now family businesses. These people were not exposed to digital marketing tools at that time but now it’s easier to even be more than these people and I believe the time is now to be ready to learn and blend well to this evolving world of Technology.”
Mrs. Wendy Klome
Mrs. Wendy Klome commended Mr. Matthew K.A. Aidoo, the Managing Director of Priority Insurance Company Limited for accepting to make this programme happen and lauded management for their interest in the training of agents nationwide.
Samuel Kwame Boadu noted that “Training Priority Insurance Company’s agents on WhatsApp Business, personal branding, and digital marketing was not just about adapting to the digital age—it was about thriving in it. The agents who embrace these strategies are better equipped to connect with clients, build strong personal brands, and implement effective digital marketing campaigns,” Samuel Kwame Boadu said.
“By investing in comprehensive training like what Priority Insurance Company is doing, insurance companies can ensure that their agents are well-prepared to succeed in today’s dynamic insurance landscape, ultimately leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction.”
